The lifting range is 7.48" to 14.49" with a 4 ton (8,000 lb) capacity. It features a smooth, glide-action pressure pump designed to lift with minimal muscle and effort and has an integrated built-in oil-bypass and overload valve that protects the hydraulic system from extending beyond its travel limits. Purchased two. Using to help remove old planking from our deck. Plenty of lift, easy pumping. Seems to be well made. Really good paint job. The base is good sized to supply solid platform. The case will provide good storage for jack and jack handle. I don't have to worry about parts getting lost in storage. The swaged end fits the valve well.

Beware of storage leakage. I thought this was a nice jack...bought it, read up on the use and then stored it away in the truck tool box which is sealed. One year, three months later I go to pull the unit from the tool box and mind you, it has been stored unused since new. I open up the case and what a mess. All the oil has leaked out of the top shaft seal. So I cleaned up the mess, re-filled the jack with hydraulic jack oil and re-inserted the oil plug. Now it sits waiting for me to monitor and see how long it takes to leak again. Useless junk. I have had a lot of bottle jacks in my work on the farm and never had one do this. No trust in this brand so looking to spend more for reliable use.

Great jack
This is a great jack, my dad bought one 5 years ago to use around his farm to work on his trucks and he still has it, it convinced me to guy one and I'm glad I did. The jack raises my 6600 pound '99 Lincoln navigator like it's nothing. Would definitely recommend buying!
