I'm a minimalist anti-consumerism type, I believe basic, natural simple products and a healthy diet are all you need for healthy skin, and that most products don't work or last. HOWEVER, I bought this product on a clearance rack at Walmart once because I have a lot of scarring on my arms from bug bites and my chest has some sun damage from years in Florida. I use this once a week, and a similar body lotion daily, and it really helped! The scars are faded, less noticable, skin color is more even and smoother! Same with my chest, softer, lighter, smoother!! I also protect my skin with sunblock, hats, avoiding direct sun, etc, but I swear by this stuff! I'm a nurse and this has ingredients that are conducive for healthy skin repair!(Retinol, hyaluronic acid and vitamin e!) Highly recommend!❤️

Hi everyone :) I am a skincare junkie - always looking for something affordable yet effective for my skin. I am someone who only purchases skincare products based solely on reviews and ratings so I wanted to share my experience with this particular product. I have been using the retinol serum for a few weeks (3-4 weeks) now and I have been really enjoying it! These are the following benefits I have experienced so far:- smoother and softer texture - brighter skin tone, dark spots fading - skin around eye area is more plump, lines are softening and dark circles fading- skin looks healthier and alot less dull- very gentle, no stinging whatsoever when used around the eyes- no fragrance and I like that the ingredients list is minimal yet very effectiveThat's my update so far! Great results in such a short period of time. I am so glad I bought a back up!! Overall, this is a wonderful serum for a fantastic price. A great serum is essential in your skincare routine as it has effective ingredients in concentrated levels that penetrate deep into the skin to help nourish and preserve youth. I have tried many high end serums and this one is better than any that i have tried so far. I am always looking for helpful reviews so hopefully this helps one of you!P.S. Have been using this product for a while! Love the quality of ingredients and that it’s a bigger bottle (bought it in prime day for the same price as the small one). Doesn’t make your face feel sticky, absorbs pretty fast before I apply moisturizer, and my breakouts were minimal compared to other retinol serums I’ve used. I haven’t used this product long but already more impressed compared to other retinols I’ve used.

I have normal skin. And I always thought that I don't need any extra effort to take care of my skin. This theory of mine was debunked once I started to get fine lines after my 30th birthday. Somebody suggested me to use retinol. I did a lot of research on how retinol works. And came to the conclusion that retinol actually helps to fight skin problems like wrinkled skin, acne, acne marks, and dull and uneven skin. Technically, it helps to unclog the skin pores, increase collagen production, exfoliates old layer of skin, and makes it a fresher and plump appearence.**********True Skin RetinolThis is a perfect retinol if you are using retinol for the first time. You can also get product called "retinoid" which is more concentrated than retinol. Dermatologist recommends to use" retinol" not "retinoid" [ again if you are just the beginner].**********RESULTSBelieve me this starts to work right after the night you apply but it might take several weeks to see an improvement in the looks and feel of your skin. This is my fifth week of using this product. I can already see and feel the differences in my skin texture. The pores are so tight. Skin is getting softer and bright. People around me have started to pass good comments on my skin appearance. I regret that I did not use this product in my 20's. Why nobody told me how important is retinol for our skin?********Again, dont expect to see the results over the night. This is slow process. At least wait for 3 weeks to see the improvement.*******In the beginning, my skin looked worst after applying retinol, it was dry and flaky. I was worried and almost decided to quit. But again, I did some research and found out that it is normal. It takes some time for your skin to get adjusted. Once it gets adjusted you will be on the wheels of perfect skin.1) How frequently I used it?Every other night after cleansing2) How much?Apply a pea size, rub it gently all over your face and neck3) Can I mix it with other products?Don't mix it with Vitamin C. You can mix it with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. But True Skin Retinol has both of these good stuff.4) What should I apply after using this?Strictly apply good amount of moisturizer after retinolJust don't wait and go for it. I will update here if I see any changes.

It’s ok but must have a lower percentage of retinol than other brands as it has had no effect.
Lid (dropper) broke after less than a week
Dropper lid has broken somehow. This must be the weakest plastic lid ever, it hasn't been dropped or knocked over.It doesn't create a vaccuum properly now in the dropper.
I got pimples after using retinol serum.
My skin gets worse after using retinol serum.
