When I want a nice bowl of soup I open up my tomato soup. You can make consistency any way you like by the amount of water you use. The taste has always been great. I have been eating this since I was a kid. It is perfect all the way around!

Take this soup, make it with whole milk instead of water, and add basil (fresh if you have it, dried if you don't). It is easy and delicious. You can take half a can and make it in a mug, for easy eating, and make the other half later (after refrigerating it). I also make my beef stew with this soup, and there really is no substitute for the taste of Campbell's soup as part of a recipe.
