AC/DC LIVE AT RIVER PLATE was recorded in Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) thunderously welcomed AC/DC back after a thirteen year absence from Argentina. The nineteen tracks on AC/DC LIVE AT RIVER PLATE span AC/DCs extensive repertoire, including old and new classics like "Back in Black," "Thunderstruck," "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Rock N Roll Train."

You knew that. They have had a long run of year after year, after year of touring. Are any of you in your 60s as good as you were 10, 20 or 30 years earlier, if not there yet do you believe you will be. Did you have such a scattered harsh life? For thier ages this sounds great.This is a live recording and outside to boot. Hugh audience. Maybe never been to a large concert. The music can't be perfect. I read a comment stating why did they wait 30 years to put out a live recording. Guess they are not a true fan or else they would know this is not first live recording.This is not meant to offend just truths.

I bought this after watching the performance of Thunderstruck, live at River Plate, for like hundreds of times on Youtube. This version is for my car and computer. I'll definitely be buying the blu-ray version soon.

This album is pretty decent. Although the sound quality is no where near what other live albums sound. A few songs sound like a bootleg recording, the rest sounds almost like being there. Where's the digital copy I normally get when I buy from Bolo.

OK! I just listened to the LIVE AT RIVER PLATE CD! And i must say it is the best sounding live album they have ever put out. The things i notice right off the bat is that the band is on fire majorly & hit all there marks. Compared to the 1992 LIVE album what stands out is no marshal mesa boogie combo amps! Angus's sound on this album is true to the 100 watt marshals. Also what makes a huge impact is Phil Rudd on the drums, Compared to Chris Slade Phil is a monster and the true back bone to this band. And if you want to compair to IF YOU WANT BLOOD well it sounds better and is recorded better, It is a double album and the crowd is mic-ed perfect and are insane and make the recording sound even better. Yes there are song's on here that are on the other live albums but they sound great & i think this is a much better and more well put together album vs the 1992 LIVE album.Plus on the 1992 Live Angus Young's guitar goes from speaker to speaker depending on what side of the stage he ran to. Just Get it And TURN IT UP! You can thank me later. LET THERE BE ROCK!!! -Mike ; )-~

The only time the crowd are heard is when Brian is encouraging them to sing along or during rapturous applause at the end of each song.At the end of the day this is a live performance in front of a huge audience. If you don't want interference from an audience buy a studio album.
