I’ve had a good experience with this ghee and I’m glad I have access to a grass fed ghee. 100 percent grass fed is better than grain fed.

I use ghee in place of butter in baked goods. It is better than butter because if you use butter, the water is evaporated as the cake bakes and the fat content isn’t enough to keep the cake moist. But if you use ghee, cake stays moist as if you had used oil, but without the harm of using a seed oil and with better flavor in my opinion than using something like avocado oil. I like this brand because it is in a glass jar, not plastic, and the price is good for an organic grass fed ghee.

When it’s right this is the BEST ghee around! It’s just not consistent in quality. I’ve purchased it and it was perfect and I’ve purchased it and it separated; I’ve purchased one jar that was so hard I couldn’t use it, so I returned it. I’m not sure why it’s inconsistent and I will continue to buy it because when it’s good it is delicious. I will return the ones that don’t meet my expectations.
