We try our foods before storing to make sure it's things we'll eat. This and the bell peppers are amazing! I was buying them from Penseys spices but now I'm refilling the jars with these at fraction of the price! I use this in soups and stocks for us and a small amount a few times a week in our home cooked dog food. (Vet approved) plan on keeping this on hand for daily use and in storage always!! It smells and taste perfectly like spinach and takes no time to reconstitute.

Love having this stuff around, and I use it regularly, not just for emergency back ups. I primarily use it in the filling for lasagne, stuffed shells and manicotti, but also in soups, and in stir fry dishes for extra colour, fiber and nutrition. The flakes are small, and combine easily with other ingredients. I find it to be a money saver, because I have a hard time using up a bag of spinach before it goes bad, and this is the perfect solution, and it tastes better and fresher than frozen chopped spinach. After opening, I store it in a jar using my vacuum sealer, and store it in my windowless pantry. I would like to tell you that it lasts a long time before it starts losing it flavour, colour and smell - but I use it up before I find out! and If you haven't tried it in smoothies, you should - especially with pineapple and citrus juices. It gives a gorgeous bright green colour, and you can't really taste it - PERFECTION! I have never been unhappy about buying Auguson Farms emergency supplies - they are always good

I buy fresh spinach but always throw half of it away due to spoilage. So I bought this to use between the spoilage and my next trip to the grocery store. I like spinach omelettes and this works pretty good it has no mouth feel when mixed with eggs but does have a spinach taste.

I really like having this large can of dried spinach available. I used to mess around with frozen chopped spinach which is good.This is really easy for me to add to homemade soup and quiche.

I loved having this to be able to add veggies to stuff quickly. It didn't break down in smoothies as well as a freeze dried spinach leaf would. The texture was still a little chewy if I didn't have time to let it soak. Still, the shelf life was way better than a bag of fresh spinach that usually ends up being good intentions turned to sludge.

I have purchased this twice. I make my own homemade pet food base with dried and fresh veggies. As I must withhold any ingredient that is toxic for dogs, buying this allows me to have sufficient product shelved to reconstitute as needed and add low-cal nutritional values in my senior dog's diet. I also love their dried kale.
