I like these ties because they are small and will be used to connect the arm and leg joints of puppets. They will be used when making puppets that ordinarily use string for connecting the parts. This will make the assembly process less complicated for children to perform while making these.

The media could not be loaded. Until now, I have been stingy with my zip ties; those days are gone!I tried the Harbor Fright small zip ties. They are too large, and the plastic is too thick for my RC Crawler. I found these great; they are the right size to clean up my wiring mess and reliable enough to make them easy to use.I would buy these again, but with 1000, that won't be for a few years!

I bought these to use as locks on my bags when traveling abroad. They're small, cheap, can't be easily broken, and I can always tell if someone's been in my bags. When I got the package, I noticed quite a few broken pieces on the bottom. I pulled them out and counted 30 broken zip tie "heads" - the thick pieces that lock the zip tie. I was worried that they were weak, so I tried to twist one and break it off. It held up surprisingly well. I locked one and tried to break it too, but it still worked. Would I use these to keep something heavy or bulky securely zip tied? No. They were thin, a little brittle, and about three inches long. But I think they will work for my purpose - just to keep a flap tied shut and not be broken by hands alone.I'll update the review if I find they work differently. For those who say that they came with broken pieces/don't hold up as well/etc., you're getting 1000 zip ties for $5. Home Depot sells 100 for $5. Don't expect each one to be perfect, don't use it to tie something really heavy, and I think they'll work just fine.

These zip ties are good but not the strongest I have ever used. They are VERY tiny. I read the measurements but I don't think I really thought through how small they would be. Plus, they are thinner than I expected. However, they are a great price for the number of zip ties you get. I was using them to zip tie my dogs kennel doors because he is quite the escape artist. Unfortunately, my dog soon found out that he could break the zip ties if he tried hard enough. So I had to find a different solution to my doggie Houdini problem.I have used the zip ties since then for simple things around the house. These are good for keeping cords organized and things like that. Anything that doesn't need the zip tie to be super strong these work well for. But if you are looking for heavy duty, then these are not the ones for you. They will get the job done, but they won't stand up to much stress.

Although a long lead time it's worth the wait
They are definitely value for money as I could only find packs of 100 in the shops here, costing more than this pack of 1000. I have 2 x 1000 light strings to put up in my garden and there will be ideal for that purpose.

I'll be honest I wish I bought bigger ones as these won't tie to a very large diameter, most people for general use will want longer than 80mm, I'd say 100mm minimum. But that's my fault, not the seller nor the product. If you want a lot of zip ties at this size then yes you won't go wrong with these.
