Finished in satin nickel and designed for left or right hand doors, this bolt latch fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4-inch and 2-3/8-inch). The 1-inch latch bolt is plated in nickel and does not budge once in place. This product is ANSI Grade-3 certified, which means this deadbolt is rated for residential security. After nearly a year of rugged use (family of 6 going in and out all day long) the deadbolt mechanism began to jam a few times a day. Ultraloq was very accessible and assisted me with troubleshooting the problem. After it was concluded that the deadbolt had an issue they sent out a replacement that arrived promptly. After installing it the door works fine again. Very pleased with the service! I have these locks on two doors. If I had more doors they would all have Ultraloqs!

**Note: the attached pictures show a Delaney Callan deadbolt latch and not the product listing**I had a Delaney Callan deadbolt latch which became very sticky which did not improve no matter how much I tried to lubricate it. I hit Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and nothing seemed like it would work (maybe some were close but I didn't wanna mess with it).I saw this on Bolo and it seemed close enough. I ordered it and its a near direct replacement. The old latch had a rounded plate, and this one from Design House as a square plate. So I had a mortise/square out the opening on the door a bit but that was no problem. Next I noticed that the latch plate sat a bit recessed in the opening, so I added some washers under the latch plate around the wood screws to raise the profile of the latch plate to be even with the opening in the door.If you get a this to replace a Delaney Callan deadbolt latch, then you may or may not have to use the washers depending on your door. Its worth a shot.Regarding build quality, it seemed like the Design House latch weighed a bit lighter, but not so much for it to be concerning on quality. This should hold up just fine.This was exactly what I needed!
