5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality product great value for the money
This stuff is strong! Had a very slow leak for years, mounted to basically vapor, never leaked enough to get on the floor, but the smell was annoying, and I did have to top off the coolant every few months. This Audi has a very complicated cooling system, it even splits into two parts to send coolant separately to the supercharger. After putting the bottle in and running the car, I was able to find the leak in seconds. That said, this stuff does not flush out of the system. You’re going to have die in your coolant pretty much forever unless you completely vacuum flushed the entire system. In my case, I drained out What I could from the radiator and the hoses while I was doing the repair and although my OEM fluid is pink, everything was bright fluorescent, yellow green from the dye, as it should be. But even after flushing as much as I could, it still was fluorescent green, with about 80% new purple OEM fluid it’s still pretty much green, lol not a big deal. And by the way, I dropped about a gallon of coolant with the dye in it on my concrete driveway and it rinsed right off no problem.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works better than I had expected
I have been fighting a slow coolant leak in my 1990 pickup for almost 10 years. Only leaks when engine is hot and cooling system has pressure but I could never find it.I put this dye in when it arrived and drove around for a while and then parked truck overnight. Next day I took my IR light and started looking and after crawling underneath I saw a bright green glow hidden under the heater hoses where the connect at the firewall. The area beneath them was shining super bright green. When I grabbed one of the hoses the pipe broke off the heater core and when I removed the hose the other side had a big crack in the heater core pipe. This surely would have left me stranded on the side of the road. Fortunately I rarely drive this truck so I was lucky. This product will show a leak easily with a good IR light. Glad I got this and my leak is gone after changing heater core.
5.0 out of 5 stars Found the leak in my PC's water-cooling external radiator quickly
I have a pc water cooled setup that leaks pretty badly yet not bad enough to see any water. I used about 2 tablespoons of this dye with a cheap UV light and glasses combo. I was able to instantly find the leak. Just to make sure it was leaking, I shaped a napkin to a point and put it where I saw the leak. As a side note, a phone camera sees UV light great as seen in the pictures, so the glasses aren't really needed but that's up to you. This was a 1977 Pontiac Bonneville without A/C heater core that I used as a custom radiator for various computers for over 15 years now. Now to finally retire the thing. Back then this full copper heater core only costed $35 and PC water cooling components were rare and very expensive.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it's supposed to.
Immediately found the leak in my system. Only thing I dislike is the instructions say to use the whole bottle. This stuff is potent. Only use the whole bottle if your doing a 5 liter engine. You should use a quarter or half on a small compact car. Weirdly, it goes in red and is meant for dexcool. But after it's mixed in the whole system turns iridescent green.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked perfect
Worked like a dream. Very easy to use. Just dump it in the coolant overlflow reservoir and let your vehicle run. I used this to spot a leak and make it easier to find. Ended up being water pump gasket. You don’t really need a uh light to use this stuff it’s very noticeable it’ll turn your coolant a bright yellow.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!
I've had a coolant smell coming from the front of my Jeep since I bought it 3 years ago and I couldn't find the leak to save my life. I've only added a quart of coolant the entire time, so I knew it wasn't that bad and I watch the level like a hawk. I decided to try this stuff just for fun and wow! I found it in daylight as soon as the engine warmed up without a uv light! It was the last place I would have guessed because the seal on the radiator cap looked fine. Once the system pressurized, it pushed past the seal and turned into steam. So THAT'S why I never saw any leaks! I was ready to replace the radiator, but all it needed was a $10 radiator cap! BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T SPILL IT! This stuff is SUPER concentrated! I spilled the smallest amount while pouring it in and tried to wash it off with the hose. Now my driveway looks like a nuclear waste spill. This is all from spilling about 1/4 ounce. And no, it's not coolant on the ground. Highly recommended!

Wow this stuff is bright! You can easily find leaks with this dye. It's very easy to use, just dump in your radiator, run the car, and watch for the cartoon nuclear colored fluid. Good quality and functions just like you'd expect.
