It needs to rehydrate but it's perfect in any dishes with sauce where you want to add some garlic but don't have any fresh on hand to chop. Way better than the jar garlic in my opinion it doesn't have the weird chemical taste jar does

I have had no problem using this product. I don’t know what the negatives are talking about. I hydrate some by soaking a half cup of dry in a bowl with covered water. When all the water is soaked up and the garlic is soft and plump then it is done. I strain them then squeeze all the water out on a paper towel, put them in a freezer bag roll them up and close very tightly. These I use for cooking. If making soup or gravy then I just toss them in dry out of the bottle. This is a no brainer.When I want garlic I want it right there. No waiting or cleaning. Good for me.

I have gotten mildly addicted to getting these on my poke bowls. They're so tasty and work so well on rice - the crispy texture is fantastic. I couldn't help but want some to have at home to put on my own rice or even nab one or two pieces for an intense snack.These were very fresh and the container does help keep moisture at bay. The size of the container is fine and the pieces are decently large. They're just like the ones I would get at the restaurant.This is a bit pricey, however there aren't a lot of options out there for dried garlic slices. It's kind of a niche product, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. This will last a long time so the price is fine, since it's not something I'd use up in a month when using it for my own consumption.

These are big slices of garlic but can be easily crumbled by hand. I love garlic so much that the big pieces are fine with me. I made a garlic based quiche last night and every bite of garlic was delicious.

These are awesome. Found out about them during a cooking class in New Orleans. The perfect size. When they get wet, they have the same color and texture of fresh garlic. Container was sealed well. Even in my humid climate, they stay dry.
