I've had this collar for about 4 years now and it's held up nicely. My dog wears her collar 24/7, we aren't the kind of ppl to take it off when she's in the house. Because of it's design we're able to keep it on her relatively loosely so she's not uncomfortable by any means by having it on all the time and for 4 years of use it's in extremely good shape. Should this ever break I will absolutely be buying another! The biggest thing I love about this collar is the design, you never have to worry about your dog slipping out of the collar because it tightens when they pull on it. Highly recommend

I love these martingale collars made by a company in Alabama. They are well made and come in various colors, prints and sizes. I got the camo pattern for a friend who has a dog and loves to hunt.This type of collar gives you the advantages of a choke collar (your dog won't slip out of the collar if he lunges at something) without the disadvantages (the collar won't choke down so much that it might hurt your pet). This my preferred type of collar and this company is my preferred place to get them

My second dog, Mila has a pretty skinny neck and a thin head- she can slide out of a lot of collars with very little effort. She's still growing (9 months old right now), and when we first got this we had to make it as small as possible, but it worked due to how the Martingales function. We've since let it out 2 inches, and it still works great and other than getting a little dirty, shows no signs of wear.Our other dog has a matchign collar one size larger, and her's is still in great shape as well!!

Well we have had this collar for 6 months now, time to write the review. We bought the pink cammo version and it really is a great looking collar. You can see it well from a distance and it stands out. We have a pit/black lab mix and she is a big girl and has a black coat with white chest so it compliments her well. She has not slipped out of it ever and wears it daily. It is strong and hasn't hurt her when you have to grab it to hold her when attending to the front door. Easy to get ahold of. My one problem would be the same thing noted by others, the extra slack in the loop is not flat and that part looks pretty bad. I read that it should go flat over time but that has not been the case. 6 months gone bye and it's still the same. Now I have not tried to iron it flat so maybe that is on me. It's been washed a few times and holds up well with color and durability. I do think they need to address the slack hooping by pressing it before they ship or ironing it down... something. I can see it being a safety hazard for a dog getting caught on something if they were a more active dog. Our dog is a great loving dog but she is a bit of a flopper.***Adopt a Rescue Dog, they will appreciate and love you for it***

The design was a great match for a dog that loves being in the woods. Its a leaf camo desgn, and it matched my dogs coat color. It WAS beautiful! I washed 3 times in a laundry bag, cold water, no oxi booster and air dry it. The colors started fading. I contacted customer service and was told the dye is not steadfast, and fades in the sun. They suggested I buy another. My dog likes being in the woods, not the sun...I am disappointed and don't recommend this product

Had another collar with the steel clips. Lasted about a year before the clips broke and almost had my dog take off.No metal claps on this bad boy to break. I like that if the dog decides to start towing you around the collar will gently tighten up around the neck. Collar is wide enough not to hurt him and he decides whether to pull or lighten up depending on how much pressure the dog decides to displace on his neck.Highly recommend

I wasn't too sure about this collar at first, thought my 200-pound Thor would snap it in half the first time he pulled while walking but didn't and hasn't so I'm quite surprised and happy with it.
