I add this to other vegetables, particularly greens, when steaming. Softens nicely. Flavor isn't too strong, and the texture melts in. Works well with other seaweeds, like kombu and dulse in vegetable dishes and salads. I don't know if it's a good value, price-wise, but it's a very healthy addition to one's diet.

Tastes good, but made me very tired after I ate it. I switched to buying wild harvested seaweed from the US and feel 100 percent better. This stuff might be grown in polluted waters or processed in an unhealthy way.

These take barely any time to hydrate with boiling water, and while they look small at first they’ll grow a lot.This is the prefect ratio of big and smaller pieces, not too chewy and not flimsy.I love miso soup which is what I got this for, but it never really fills me up since it’s really just broth and some smaller things. With this stuff that doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore. Very satisfied, and I’ll be ordering it again once I get through the two packs that would probably survive the end of the world with how much there is.
