I am thrilled with this wheelchair. I am able to get through small door openings. I do have to remove the leg supports, when I have to turn in a small hallway , to enter a room, but I'm fine with that. I only use the leg supports, when I have to go to a medical facility and have to do any walking. Feel very safe using my own wheelchair, rather than one offered by the medical offices, not knowing who sat in them before me. I weigh enough, that it doesn't slip on carpeting, but if it did, a carpeted chair mat, cut in strips and attached to the wheels, with duct or electrical tape would work. This wheelchair is a win situation for me and I highly recommend it.

I bought the small size for my son who fractured his leg and couldn't put any weigh on it. Also needed his leg elevated. This wheelchair has been amazing and for the price it is absolutely a great value. I don't know about long term as we have only had it for 4 weeks but it has endured three school children at home taking turns and playing on it. Also multiple in's and out's of a car which mean taking the legs off and folding on and off multiple times a day.My son even took it on the grass for field day at school. Highly recommended. It really saved the day for my 9 year old and helped make him feel much more confident moving around with a full leg cast.Durable, reliable, great value.

Sturdy well built wheelchair that goes thru bedroom and bath room doorways without rubbing woodwork. Wish seat was a bit bigger for longer more comfortable seating but works to get from A to B and back. Able to load fairly easily to go other places.

I bought two of these medline wheelchairs for my wife, the nut and bolts are coming lose or have fallen out. Brake nuts and bolts, arm rest nuts and bolts. Handles slip out. We do no recommend these wheelchair since we believe they are not safe, especially the break nuts and bolts and the handles, since we need to go up and down on wheelchair ramps.

Lots of well thought out features like adjustable leg attachments and arms that swing up and out of the way. Allows using a slide board for handicapped patients and very secure brakes. A super value for the money. Very satisfied after having two previous wheelchairs.

This is, indeed, a VERY light weight chair. It is a tad flimsy, and because of the plastic wheels, it's not great for outdoor winter use. It is an excellent in-house assist, but best for occasional use. You wouldn't want it as your only source of transport on a daily basis. Also, the arms are VERY short, which is somewhat uncomfortable, when being pushed by others.

Well made chair and came fully assembled. I only had to install the footrests and adjust the height. If you need to lower the chair for a short person, you will need some tools. The wrenches supplied with the chair are too short to break the nuts loose and to adequately tighten them after adjusting the chair. The chair is light weight and is easy to load into the backseat for travel.
Hills = death trap
It’s cheap, and it fold up compactly. If you have someone else to wheel you around, or you are only going on flat surfaces, that aren’t on any sort of incline, and don’t have any rough surfaces, this should work fine. Don’t try to go up a slight hill, it’s a death trap.
