Works very well for extra insurance in gaskets, o-rings and plumbing drain connections to seal microscopic imperfections in those connections. They call it a belt and suspenders approach, which I try to apply to most projects I work on.It's food safe, so as long as you don't go overboard, it's okay to apply to joints, o-rings in water faucets, etc.It cleans up quickly and easily with isopropyl / rubbing alcohol on exposed surfaces or your hands.The cap is easy to wipe off and it doesn't air cure or dry out and the packaging is a thick plastic tube vs those metal / aluminum ones that always seem to develop rupture points.I use this in conjunction with setting silicone in a lot of plumbing projects.I like that they also have an oil and spray version of something similar, depending on the application you're working with.Lastly, it's very affordable and works well enough to replace dedicated dielectric greases in some situations.
