The M-D Aluminum Extender is designed to extend the depth of your sill type threshold. For best fit, used with M-D thresholds. No hardware is needed for installation. Before installation, the extender can be cut to a desired length using a hacksaw.

I was able to saw down to 32 inches after installing a new storm door. The extension tapped right on with the help of a rubber mallet and held up against some test foot traffic.Only reason I'm not giving a perfect 5 stars is because the extension didn't really "pop in" so it can be kicked up with a little effort.Great overall item.

Great solution for when you buy a Larson storm door from Lowes but the sweep doesn’t quite work with your jamb size. Took a bit of fiddling (trim for length, remove some old mortar so it would sit flush), but this worked wonders. Perfect result!

The build quality was sturdy, and the chrome color looked nice.We purchased two, cut one into equal lengths and centered the uncut length between them allowing for the seams to lay on either side of the entranceway. They sealed well when slid into the doors existing sill.We found these to be the best option for a great value after pricing similar options at our local hardware stores.I would purchase these sill extenders again.

I needed a new door with a 6 1/2" jamb. It would be a special order. "Nobody got time for that" . I bought the same door instock with a 4 1/2" jamb . I extended the jamb to 61/2". I bought this 2" jamb extension and it fit perfect on this Jeldwen door from Lowe's. 👍👍
