Sodium thiosulfate can be used in various ways, some of which are listed below: it can be used as a dechlorinating agent for swimming pools and aquariums. Sodium thiosulfate reacts with chlorine in chlorinated water/tap water, neutralizing it and making water safe. Common tap water usually has a chlorine content around 3-4 ppm chlorine, these levels can be toxic to ponds or fish aquariums, so tap water treatment is always critical before replacing pond or aquarium water. For dechlorination of 10 liters of tap water to 4ppm of chlorine, between 0.1g and 0.2g of sodium thiosulfate are required. Sodium thiosulfate is also used by photographers as a photo fixer. It has a high affinity with soft metals, and the solution can be used to dissolve photographic emulsions. It has also been used as an antidote against cyanide poisoning, during skin tanning, as an experimental overwhelming solution (similar to sodium acetate) and also for gold extraction.

Il prodotto si presenta conforme alla descrizione. Il costo è molto elevato se paragonato ai bulk industriali, ma abbordabilissimo per queste quantità. Dato che mi non serviva una elevata purezza, l'ho preferito al reagentario da laboratorio.

Produit vraiment top je pensais que sa ne fonctionnerait pas et vraiment qu'elle surprise au bout 1h les boules commençait à noircir ne pas trop dosser 5 cuillère à soupe dans un sceau juste de l eau pour recouvrir les boules la 1er fois laisser les boules 5 jours en remuant tt les jours pour que les boules noircir bien partout je recommande vraiment ce produit.
