Whatever you put it on stays clean, dry, rust resistant, easy to clean, but very, very well lubricated even under heavy loads.

This is probably the most effective chain lube I've used. Not messy, sticks, does the job. I use it on my motorcycles and on a PTO-driven snow blower's gear reduction chain.

I've used several different brands of chain lube and they all have their pros and cons so the task is to pick one that suits your purpose and delivers results. I'm a sportbike rider so the use of Pro Honda chain lube in off road use isn't something I have experience with. On the street the lube performs well in keeping the chain lubed and minimizing chain snatch on properly adjusted chains when at part throttle. The lube doesn't fling off easily and as a result it does collect dirt and road grime but the tradeoff is better than others I've used. Cleaning and re-lubing the chain every 200-300 miles depending on grime accumulation got my Superduke 1290 R OEM chain to the 42K mile mark, though the chain was pretty well shot by 39K miles. I use WD-40 to clean the chain to drive out any moisture, wipe it with a rag and then reapply the lube. I gave it 4 stars because if a little less grime clinged to the chain it would be perfect.

I use this to lube the chain on a Honda CT90 Trail motorcycle. This is fine for that. I suspect if would be good others as well.

Bought this stuff for my rebel 1100. It’s great, sprays easy and the chain is so much quieter and smoother than before.I did find this at the dealer for $10 though, and found out you aren’t able to return this. Try your local dealer first before buying

I use this mostly on my dual-sport (2023 Honda XR150L), so I get a lot of mud and water thrown up onto the chain. It protects the rubber O-rings as well as the mettle from rusting. It is easy to apply, adheres well and stays applied. Cleans off well with a chain brush and some chain cleaner. I will definitely buy this again.
