They're fantastic in soup, or as a quick side dish. They're hearty and versatile. Not too much of a taste but they absorb anything you put on them.

Wow, either these are really good or my I’ve leveled up on my chef skills once again, but wow I made an udon bowl , ramen style with these and let’s just say it was finger licking good.

Great quality and good flavor, I love how fast they cook and are ready to eat in no time. Ready to eat with seafood or chicken is great with these noodles. A taste of Japan and with stir fried works great as well.

I really can't handle all the noodles that wont return my calls, but these noodles are not like that, I ordered them from the Internet and they just came in the mail, like magic.The factorys noodle making machine truly blew my mind, it not only made noodles but also put them in a bag for me to get in the mail and then put into boiling water. And now I'm not alone anymore, now I don't have to wake up alone and face the darkness of my mind all alone, now I have the Japanese udon noodles by my side to help me face all the pain.Thanks japanese udon noodle company, you made all the pain go away with your noodles.My life was bleak and hopeless, but all that is over now, all the hurt and pain is gone nowThank you thank you.Now I can finally have a good night sleep.

The texture of this noodles is good. Can be tasteless. When I cook it a second time, I add salt to the water. Taste much better the second time.

If you are a noodle person, the following is my feedback of the product (Hime Joshu Udon Noodles 800g). ... I first tried this brand of udon noodle a couple of months ago, and bought more subsequently. The quality is very good. The brand is Japanese. It is not the cheapest, especially compared with brands from other non-Japanese makes. But I highly recommend it because the quality is worth it. One thing to look out though - it does not come with any soup flavour; just the noodles in the pack. You may want to buy a pot of miso and other Japanese pastes to create a soup-base for the noodles. Alternatively, fry the noodles with your soya/oyster sauces (plus vegetables and/or shredded meat) etc. It works.
