With hands-free operation, the Basic Hand Wash System by Tye Works, uses a foot operated pump to provide water to a copper spigot easily slipped over the rim of most buckets. A brass and stainless steel inlet strainer helps keep the water flowing. These are commonly found on river rafting trips, mountaineering expeditions, and car camping, but could be equally useful at fishing or hunting camps. Ideally two systems would be used, with one set up at the groover (privy), and the other at the camp kitchen. Units contain materials from approximately 95% domestic sources.

I got this for my wife, who has a little ceramics/pottery studio at home. We didn’t want all kinds of clay going down our drains and causing problems, so this item + two hardware store buckets of choice = simple hassle-free sink that we didn’t have to do any plumbing to install. We don’t have a single complaint about it, and apparently the wife is now the envy of the local ceramics group because of the “personally-installed washing station”! :)

The media could not be loaded. Highly recommend this versatile assembly! Covid-19 had me looking to make a touch-free outdoor handwashing station for the kids and for a few backyard visitors.There was a popular DIY design I thought was great... But I dreaded sourcing the parts and assembling them, drilling holes in buckets, and so forth.Further poking around and I find this assembly, literally ready to go, right out of the bag. The spigot clips onto anything, and rises up enough to keep your hands out of the basin or bucket.For a test, I filled a small cooler with warm water and set a dishpan on a milk crate. Less than two minutes later, I'm washing my hands, touch-free! So easy to use. Better still, fun to use! The kids are really into washing up, without touching 2 doorknobs, 2 faucet handles and who knows what else inside the house.A great value, seems well-made and best of all, no assembly work for me! We'll take it camping too, it's so quick and easy to set up.

This is a much better built unit than those sold by some outfits such as REI. Unlike some, it has a metal faucet and seems built to last more than a couple uses. I found the hose to the foot pump to be a bit shorter than convenient but otherwise was happy with the quality. Used once for a gathering of around 50 people. Easy to use. Everyone liked it.

We use this at our off grid homesite. It works perfect for our needs. It's been our temporary kitchen sink and handwashing station. It's made really well. Don't let the pricing deter you, it's very sturdy, easy to install and move to where you need it.

This is the second one that I've owned because it's so easy to use. I've used this for decades on camping trips, and it works flawlessly. No more dirty hands on campouts. Takes a few seconds to setup with two buckets (I use two Home Depot 50-gallon buckets).

The only reason for a low review is because of the length of the tubes. Virtually useless how they come. You need to purchase more tubing so that you can actually foot pump the bulb.
