Permatex Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant prevents threaded fasteners from seizing and galling in environments up to 2400 degrees Farenheit. An ideal lubricant for handling extreme temperatures and pressures, it protects metal parts in harsh conditions like marine environments where salt water can easily corrode metals, making disassembly and assembly for repairs more difficult. Nickel composition is especially important to use where copper contamination must be avoided. Because it is inert, it will not cause a reaction when in contact with copper surfaces. It is also effective on stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys. The half-ounce tube is a convenient size for small scale jobs, perfect for spark plugs, exhaust manifold bolts, muffler clamps, and tailpipe assemblies.

I have a Ford F150 with a 5.4 Liter 3 valve V-8. This engine is known to have issues with removing spark plugs. They freeze up in the heads and frequently break when removed. After 70,000 miles, I figured it was time to bite the bullet and replace my spark plugs. There is a well documented procedure for removing the plugs to hopefully minimize breakage. Also, a special tool to remove the pieces if any do break. And a process for installing new plugs to hopefully minimize future issues. This Anti-Seize seems to be a vital part of the process. After several hours the plugs were removed, none of them broke. The new ones were installed. Of course I used this anti-sieze. This was delivered quickly and was in the original packaging. So, it is the real thing and was not damaged in shipping. There was plenty to replace my 8 spark plugs.

Nice Lubricant
Perfect for lubricating when installing new rotors. Able to spread out on metal evenly, to get it thinly coated. Hope it works for high heat like it markets.
High temp anti-seize
This is the only anti-seize I use on everything that requires anti-seize.
I like the small size.
