I understand the struggle of wanting to provide quality food without breaking the bank, and I've tried countless brands, even making homemade meals, to satisfy my Pomeranian Chihuahua. She consistently preferred the cat's food, which was incredibly frustrating. That's why I was so thrilled to discover Nature's Recipe Grain Free Small Breed Chicken, Sweet Potato, and Pumpkin dog food. Honestly, I had nearly given up!Chicken is the first ingredient, providing essential protein. Sweet potatoes and pumpkin offer excellent fiber for healthy digestion. This is crucial for a dog's overall health...after all, there's a reason for different ingredients in cat kibble and dog kibble!The grain-free formula is perfect for dogs with sensitivities, and it's been gentle on my dog's stomach. The small kibbles are ideal for tiny mouths...and she really is so very tiny. She weighs all of 3 pounds soaking wet, and I'm always amazed at her little mouth. I love to watch her when she barks because her little snout looks like it's ready to drink from a drinking straw – so small pieces are so important. She has no trouble eating these bits. They really make it easy for her to chew and swallow.I appreciate that there are no artificial colors or flavors. Maybe it's a small thing, but she is such an unexpected and delightful part of my life. For someone who never thought I would ever be a dog person, she has really become a part of my soul, and I would do anything I possibly can for her. This is such a simple thing to do, and I'm not sure why all dog food isn't made without artificial flavors and colors. It gives me peace of mind knowing I'm feeding her a wholesome diet.Pickiest Eater Approved! This is the most important thing. I was able to mix this food with my cat's kibble, and my dog ate it! Over time, I was able to reduce the amount of cat food in the mixture, and now she is eating almost entirely this dog food! She is healthier, more energetic, and her breath is so much better.Additionally, it's only slightly more expensive than some other brands. Not *really* expensive like a lot of the designer brands that seem to be so popular right now, but slightly more expensive. It's a little stretch for my tight budget, but not ridiculously so. The quality and the fact that it finally got my picky dog to eat dog food makes it worth every penny. This is pretty good quality kibble, especially for the price. My older, middle-sized dog eats this “Small Breed” kibble, since he needs something not so round for his old teeth. He is a mixed breed, with some small breed features so this suits him. Sometimes I buy the regular one, but I believe this is easier for him to eat.

I have 4 dogs, including a 14 year old senior Frenchie. He stopped eating and I was frantic to find something he would eat. Up until it's never been a problem, but due to his age it's vital he stays well nourished as he has medical issues. I feed them fresh chicken and beef with a very expensive and widely known kibble. Nature's Recipe caught my attention as it is completely grain free, no corn, soy or wheat added, no by-products of any kind or colors, preservatives or flavors. I got the Chicken, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin recipe and THEY LOVE IT! Even the Frenchie - he cannot get enough and will even eat it before he goes to bed as a "snack!" I am so delighted and they all seem to be doing exceptionally well two weeks in. I just ordered the bigger bag and wet food. Surprisingly this is less expensive than that other kibble - and my dogs are doing better on it and love it! THANK YOU NATURE'S RECIPE! Wish I had found you sooner!
