These DVDs played well and I had no issues with them.

First a warning to fans of naruto shippuden: Stay away from any discusions or reviews concerning Naruto shippuden from episodes 127 onwards. There are always people out there who want to ruin the customers satisfaction by spoiling important scenes or events. If you`re curious about the product you can safely read my reviews without important moments being ruined. Now for the review.The previous boxset ended with an epic akatsuki fight and the revelation of a major character, who plays a huge role later in the series. It was a great boxset and the addition of kakashi chronicles made it unforgetable. If you enjoyed Kakashis past then get ready for Jirayas story. Jiraya is one of my personal favorites in Naruto, and the chance to see his past was more than welcome. Jiraya`s days under the 3rd hokage are shown, including a cocky and cheerful jiraya trying to pass the bell test. Viewers of the original series will notice just how similar Naruto and Jiraya are. Jiraya`s childhood is only chronicled over 2 episodes here, but his backstory is far from finished; We follow jiraya on his quest to write a book and see his relationship with the 4th hokage. But most crucialy we see his encounter with a group of war orphans...As great as Jirayas past is it pales in comparison to the main event and that is without a doubt, Sasuke vs Itachi. The moment has finally come for Sasuke to exact vengance on Itachi for the massacre of his clan. Masashi Kishimoto doesnt disappoint here - The fight is intense, with a shocking revalation. The fight will have you guessing as to the winner right until the shocking finale.A special mention to the soundtrack, which has only gotten stronger since the show started. The opening theme, Sign, sung by Flow is fantastically epic. When those credits start(which are brilliantly animated) you just know it's gonna be amazing. Particular highlights during these episodes are Pains theme and utsusemi.This isn't the only epic fight on display in this set as we finally see jiraya go toe to toe with the akatski leader Pain. Naruto shippuden just gets better and better from here on, and this boxset is superb. You must get this!

It checks all the boxes! Like I said above: All CDs present, in english dub like I wanted, US-regional DVD, no damage. This has been true of all the DVDs so far, though here I'm referring to Set 11.(If I had to complain about the original DVDs themselves: They have ads on startup, which is pretty ridiculous for a paid product but standard practice. The ads are all naruto-related, which sounds nice, until you realize that they advertise movies or videogames that sometimes contain mild spoilers! I recommend fast-forwarding through the ads as fast as possible. The DVDs themselves have good navigation - chapter markers for episode start, episode ED, next-episode preview (skip-skip-skip!), and fun post-preview extras.)

This was a great set of DVD's with some epic battles and a lot of the characters that I like best! One of these battles is between Jaraiya and the Pains...it is great animation and full of powerful jutsu and fighting...plus emotions, if you love Jaraiya. Another epic battle is between Itachi and Sasuke which has been built up since the first few episodes of Naruto. It is great...but I am not a Sasuke fan...so it was not my favorite part of the disc set. I love that team 8 and 7 are involved in these episodes chasing Itachi. The characters on these teams are the coolest!! They end up fighting Tobi and we get to see them all in some action. Hinata, as usual, is concerned about Naruto. Hinata ends up getting rudely scolded by Sakura for looking up in concern when Naruto is smashed by Tobi. Team 8 is involved not only in tracking Itachi...but some of the attacks.Buy this set from Bolo....it is a must for Naruto fans!!

Great story.I love when anime progress stories like this.The original naruto series was well written.Each character was interesting.Alot of touching moments.Especially naruto,always trying to inspire an help.This continues in Shippuden.EXcept,the characters aged a few years.Which is what I meant by progression.Im not going to explain what each set is about.Just know this series is addictive.So if you get the chance,buy alot or all sets at once.I got all 15 on sale almost half off. 20ish$$$ a set.Im a little disappointed in the length of time it took to ship from Bolo LLC.5 business days just to be shipped.But arrived shortly after.The sets are kinda a ripoff considering each set is 11-13 episodes.But on sale it was a must buy.For 330$ I got 15 sets instead of paying660$.I love this show and will keep buying.Set 16 is due to release in october 2013..

I say this is one of my favorite shippuden sets because it offers the pains and the death of pervy sage and also the brothers hate for one another or rather should i say really only one person ...itachi and sasuke fight ...specs. just three disk with blue and white cover to the disk no manual(boy they getting cheap on a person) and cool cover art for cd case..in the end of my review I would recommend this one for certain for true naruto fans and new comers as well approval A list

This is another greatly entertaining volume with a good mixture of action, comedy and emotion. The episodes in this volume can be split into two parts with the seven episodes on the first disc dealing with Jiraiya and his battle with the leader of the Hidden Rain Village, Pain. The seven episodes on the second disc meanwhile deal with Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha.The first disc begins with a two episode flashback that shows us the background for Jiraiya as he meets the toads of Mount Myoboku, trains to become the Toad Sage and learns a prophecy that will shape the future of the Ninja World. After this the next five episodes follow Jiraiya as he attempts to infiltrate the Hidden Rain Village, must confront shadows of his past and discovers the truth about Pain. Jiraiya has always been one of my favourite characters from this series so these seven episodes are easily my favourite part of the series so far. There are some very nice battles throughout these episodes as well as some interesting revelations, such as how Naruto got his name. These episodes also have some of the more emotional moments of the series.The second disc in this set sees Sasuke finely catch up with his brother Itachi which leads to the pair of them fighting the battle Sasuke has been working towards for years. I will admit that I am not the greatest fan of Sasuke and so didn't like these episodes as much as those on the first disc but even I will admit that they were entertaining with some nice battles and some very good abilities on display. As well as Sasuke's fight, these episodes also include another look at Itachi's past and the massacre he committed with some new revelations mixed in as well.This volume of 'Naruto Shippuden' was very good. The episodes in the volume have reasonably good animation and some nice advancement to the overall plot of the series. The volume includes both the English and Japanese versions of course with the English voice acting being of the usual quality. Overall I feel that this volume deserves a solid five stars.

All about the Uchiha - Jiraya the toad mountain sage
Very good arc of Naruto Shippuden where Sasuke finally has an all out battle with his brother itachi.(The outcome is unfortunate in my opinion)Jiraya infiltrates the hidden rain village and fights Pain. there is also a liitle history between them, and Konan which is good to watch. You also get to see why he calss himself the toad mountain sage. It is not just for show.There is also a bit of background info on Jiraya (ero sannin) from when he was still a student of Sarutobi sensei. This also explains a little why he likes Naruto so, as they are birds of a feather.Everybodies favourite ninja Naruto does not play a major role in this, but this time the stortyline is pretty good so I didn't miss him all that much.Well, if you followed the series so far, this episode is a must have, because it's one of the best box sets of the shippuden series.Also good if you like anime with ninja's/fighting and a bit of humour. But if you're new to the series you should really watch it from the start.
they are fantastic films to watch.
i have almost completed the collection of naruto.me and my family watch them all the time and we cant wait for the next one to come out.what is fascinating about them is the artwork that goes into them and the hardwork they do issomething to be desired for. and i am looking forward to collecting the rest of them.so i am giveing the thumbs up to this one is my favourit out of allof them.
