this valve is identical to the one that came with my filter from the factory. It’s easy to install and works perfectly. It’s been running for over two years now in my filter great value for the money there’s no leak whatsoever it The Bill qualities was very good

The fact that these break so easily is a reason Fluval canisters aren't my favorite filters. Terrible design. That said, this replacement part works great. Just hope it won't break.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit! Don't ignore the warning signs of a failing valve!
The media could not be loaded. Excellent direct replacement part. It was a perfect fit, arrived quickly and most of all it stopped the massive leak that was flooding my living room. The seals on the original value had gone bad and I missed the indication that we had a problem until it was too late. The flow rate lever should move easily and our old one was almost impossible to adjust. Ultimately the seals failed and water began to leak. If you find yourself struggling to adjust the flow rate I would go ahead and put this part on order before you have a tsunami of aquarium water on the floor! Thankfully this is an affordable way to avoid an insurance claim for water damage.

The valve we had sprung a leak, and we replaced it with this valve. It fits, and we are back in business. I reordered another one, so that in the future, I will have a backup. I dont expect that to happen soon, as the original valve lasted many years.

Exactly what I ordered but a small plastic piece was broken on arrival. It will still work, but still a little disappointing. Going to reach out to see if they send a replacement, but overall still okay.

It came just in time. My Fluval 206 had a awful leak. I tried soaking the O ring in oil to lubricant it, to no avail, I was about to give up and throw the whole filter away. Then I saw this part which was where the water was coming out of, so I ordered it and glory be, worked like a charm. It fit perfectly and no more leaks.
