After trying my vet's treatment of EasOtic along with Mal-A-Ket cleaner, his ears still had this jet black residue in them that were consistent with a bacteria and yeast infection. Before going back to the vet and spending even more, I tried this due to the great reviews. It worked great! Within 3 days, his ears had way less residue, within 5 days it was no longer black, and in 7 days they were completely clear! Just apply a few drops to each ear (no prior cleaning required) and make sure it gets down in the ear canal. I wiped with round cotton cloths but only to help it be more effective. Great all around product, no smell, and definitely cheaper than a vet visit! I would recommend trying this first if you have similar issues.

My golden retriever gets constant ear infections, and this is the first product that gave fast, real relief. Within a day or 2, the itching and head shaking stopped, and his ears were noticeably cleaner. Super easy to apply and no rinsing needed. I just wish the bottle was bigger for the price but it works wonders. Definitely keeping this on hand.

I have a Shar Pei with very narrow ear canals which tend to harbor nasty bacteria. I have been to the Vet. to get his ears cleaned under sedation which is hard on Rufus and the wallet. I tried this after reading about it and reading reviews. BAM this solution works! After 6 days of applying as directed, no more black and other colored secretions .I'm going to use very little each day to keep his ears clear.

This ear solution work wonders and saves pet owners from taking their pets to the vet. Our dog kept scratching and pawing at her ear. We did some research and it was either taking her to the vet and paying a few dollars or using ear solution. We read the reviews for this particular ear solution and bought it. Within a few days of using this solution our dog stop scratching her ear as often and her ear doesn’t have an odor no more. This solution is ear droplets so it’s easy to use and didn’t cause any discomfort to our dog.

My lab had very dirty yeasty ears. So bad she was scratching day and night for a couple of days until she scratched one ear raw that it bled. I was about to call the vet and found these drops. The reviews do not lie. After a couple of days she completely stopped scratching. By day 4 the ear was a healthy pink color again and no longer red and agitated. Follow the directions and do not clean their ears. The drops are gooey so be prepared to get some on you if your dog rubs against you later. Otherwise this stuff is amazing. A week later she’s back to normal.

Came across Zymox as a suggestion, applied once a day for 7 days- Problem solved immediately after one weeks use.! Even now a few weeks later she is irritation free and her ears are clear of black debris. Highly recommended.
The best product you’ll find for dogs with recurrent ear problems
By far the best product of I have come across for my GSD with recurrent ear infections. Her ears clear up in days, saved so many trips to the vet with our anxious girl.I can’t recommend this product highly enough!
Effective but very drying
This was a very effective ear cleaner, but it made my dog's pinneas (ear flaps) very dry and scaly after just two applications. May be a little too strong for dogs with sensitive ears or skin.EDIT: After realising that all Zymox product reviews are lumped together on their product range, clarifying that this review is for the 1% hydrocortisone product. Sensitive dogs may do better with the 0.5% hydrocortisone or hydrocortisone-free products.
