This is a good construction adhesive if your looking for something that is fairly putty-like out of the tube. It isn't exactly free-flowing in it's application. It's also hard to get out of the tube at first. You need to puncture down the spout about 4" to open the flow. It could be that the tube I ordered was a bit drier than normal. However, it's putty-like texture makes it easier to control and less messy as some other fast flowing products. Overall, it worked well for gluing a pliable flooring transition strip down to a hardwood base. Also, I'll always use gloves when working with this product because it's amazingly easy to get on your hands and very difficult to get off.

In my opinion, this is the best that Loctite has in an adhesive. Yes it’s thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube but that’s what makes it’s adhesiveness so strong!It has excellent bonding power and dries as hard as a rock. It’s sandable, paintable and can also be used as a crack or nail hole filler.Great stuff!!

Used this to put down new stair treads. Does the job well. As others mentioned, it's incredibly difficult to get out of the tube without an adequate caulk gun. My 12:1 literally exploded, it could not handle the product's density. Purchased a 24:1 Ox (OX-T046201) - massive difference, comes out like butter. I wouldn't recommend anything less than an 18:1 thrust ratio for this stuff or you're gonna struggle.

Tough as nails. This product hands down is the best construction adhesive available hands down. I’ve use plenty of them. Stays rock hard even when wet from rain. It won’t disappoint.

You might want to try a different adhesive. This was incredibly hard to work with. I’m not a weak man, yet I was struggling to get it to flow. Maybe it would work better with a powered caulking gun, I don’t know. I do know that I wouldn’t buy it unless I could take it back to the store for a refund. I for an expiration/ manufacture date and there was none. Funny, as the instructions say that it has a shelf life of one year. What year ? If I could take away the one star, I would. Get it locally or try something else.
