Been using this stuff for a few years and it works great! There's a lot of calcium in the water where we're currently living so the build up in my water kettle is a lot and quick. It makes it look new!

Descaled Capresso espresso machine, boiler is less noisy now, was a lot of rattling and popping when coming up to temp before. Also used to descale a metal electric kettle.

As easy to use as vinegar for cleaning. We use filtered water to make coffee so particulates are not present in water and therefore the machine operates cleaner and with less if any micro-clogging. Vinegar probably works just as well.

I got this because I made the mistake of using "spring water" rather than distilled water in my Capresso tea kettle. After a couple of gallons it was all scummed up.I'm frankly amazed at how well this stuff worked. The kettle looked new after a single cleaning. Swishing the cleaning solution around even got the water spots above the fill line. A couple of fresh-water rinses later, and no residual taste either.I will definitely go for this stuff again if I or a "friend" am dumb enough to use the wrong water again. Oh, wait ... it came with three packets, so I still have two left!

Does the job perfectly albeit expensively. Vinegar solution will not come close to what this formula can do. Follow the instructions and use it whenever you feel the coffee coming out of the brewer is just not as hot as it used to be. Would be 5 stars if it were not so expensive.

This product is literally repackaged 'Urnex Dezcal' pouches, the Urnex logo is on them and everything. The premium pricing on this may make you think it's different, but it's not. For $10 less, you can buy 900g of Dezcal (equivalent to 10 of these boxes) and probably never have to think about buying it again.
