For reference I have fine textured hair that sits right above my shoulders in a long bob. I get highlights and wanted to switch my normal leave in conditioner to a hair oil with added heat protection. Not all hair oils have heat protection so I had to narrow it down. I stumbled upon Kevin Murphy and decided to give it a try. It does everything it claims to do! I apply the oil to damp hair after the shower and before blow drying/flat ironing. It makes my hair feel hydrated, soft, smooth and I love that it has added heat protection so it’s a one and done product for me! It also made it much easier to brush through any tangles. I don’t like using a ton of products but it’s important for me to have a good leave in due to hair bleaching and regular use of hot tools. My hair literally looks and feels so good when using this. Because I have fine short/medium hair I only need two pumps, one on each side. So a little goes a long way. It’s expensive but the bottle will last me a while. I have tried Moroccanoil in the past and I like Kevin Murphy way better. I didn’t have any issues with it weighing my hair down either which is a huge plus. My hair was previously dry from highlights and this has been a huge game changer. I would highly recommend this hair oil! It’s great quality.

I was skeptical, but this product totally changed the look, feel and manageability of my hair!My lovely hair started thinning a great deal and changed totally to a dull, super unmanageable mess after a year of stress and medication.One application, then a quick blow dry ( since it’s so thin, it takes no time to dry) and I was shocked!! It makes my hair shine, feel soft and silky and totally renewed.It is more money than I would ever spend, but after two washes and applications. I am sold and SO HAPPY to have found Kevin Murphy Young Again.The product states it will not damage color treated hair, but my only worry would be that it also states it is flammable. The ingredient list is written micro small. I’m going to have to get a magnifying glass to read itOther than that… I’m incredibly pleased.
