Excellent product! In my opinion having a pomade like this is an essential men’s hair product. I have medium length thick, coarse, wavy hair that can be very unruly and difficult to tame. This product keeps everything neat, tidy, tight, and in place. Keeps the hairstyle in place for the day and has great lasting power. My style is more of pompadour/classic quiff and this pomade helps cut back on styling time with its strong hold. The smell is very masculine and pleasant without being overpowering. It does have a higher shine which I think enhances the style I’m going for and gives it a more polished look. I found that it is possible to decrease the level of shine by simply blow drying. I’m using both this and redken brews (medium hold/natural shine), while both are great products, this pomade gets the job done better for what I’m looking for and my hair texture as opposed to the Redken. Definitely recommend Uppercut’s deluxe pomade!

Smells very good when I apply to my hair. It keeps a strong natural looking hold all day long even when it gets wet! Make sure not to let the product get all over the lid because after a few uses the lid gets stuck shut because the pomade acts like a sealant lol.

I was actually hoping for more of a musky scent...scent is pretty mild. It washes off your hands with just water, so that's a plus, no soap needed. A little goes a long way. I used it on my hair dry and slightly damp and for my thick hair I like the look it leaves with slightly damp hair...not too damp, but not completely dry hair. It gives it a kind of shiny wet look, which is what I was going for. I've also used it in my hair with a diffuser/blow dry and it gives my hair my curl, so it's a good product for doing different things. I would buy it again.

I’ve used a lot of pomades over the years and this one is hands down the best one I’ve used. Requires no water and must be applied in dry hair. Not too firm to where it feels like I have something stuck in my hair and long lasting with a good hold and no greasy look.

Used to buy Clubman mustache wax for years, a barber friend recommended this product for superior control. It is is not clumpy, it is pliable and has ultimate hold. It washes out easily. This is an excellent product and a great value.

I have thick wavy hair. I have found that uppercut holds and styles my hair perfectly. I usually apply uppercut after showering. I apply uppercut by just taking a minimal amount on 2 fingers and rubbing it together in my hands. I then rub the product through my hair and style it. I have found it takes up to 3 applications to completely cover my hair. Uppercut has a sweet “honey whiskey” like smell that is not overpowering. The hold lasts all day. Uppercut pomade is my go to and seems like it will last a good while. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and highly recommend!

This product is a bit gazzy compare to Blind Barber. It gives extra shine and having a very nice aroma. Also this product doesn't hold for long time. I still find blind barbar perfect for my hair.
