We also love Ethiopian food and this must be one of the seasonings they use in the food! A little goes a long way and if you season heavily be prepared for your food to be spicy!! I've been using this type of seasoning blend for a very long time. I decided to try the blend from this brand because I've been pleased with some of their other products and I'm glad that I made the decision. The blend is very versatile and I use it in a lot of recipes

There's a good balanced flavour with a bit of heat that didn't require any further additions of salt for my tastes.

I love this spice. I've never tried berbere before so I don't know how this compares to other ones but I'll definitely buy this again.
Ethiopian stew
I only use for making Ethiopian chicken stew. Very good but should be a larger container. Most such recipes require 1-2Tbsp and the bottle is quickly empty.
Delicious and spicy
The spice blend arrived in good order and free flowing. The blend of spices are different than any other curry blend I have used. It is pungent and flavourful. Highly recommend.
