The disc lock is a special form of padlock with some distinct advantages. The disc shape effectively combats the most common ways of forcing it open. The design with only a small opening in the shackle makes it very difficult to tamper with. As the ABUS Diskus is made mainly of stainless steel, it is used especially where security and protection against corrosion are required. 360-degree all-round protection. The Diskus family is available in models with diameters between 50 and 80 mm. The original Diskus is only available from ABUS. As a special model, the locks can be retrofitted with a disc cylinder (ABUS-Plus locking system) or cylinder pulling protection.

Bought this to lock an overhead roll up door on my shed. This is a well made, fairly weatherproof lock that works perfectly in that application. I would recommend this lock ti anyone with such a need. Would definitely (and did) buy again.

Very durable lock that is very tight to get into with a bolt cutter when locked, the key fits in very snug and tight, I like the key swivel cover to prevent moisture getting inside the lock.

This lock is great because there is little room to get any tools in the shackle when it is locked on to the chain so bolt cutters wont fit in. I use an Abus chain as well and it really works great. Great feeling of security when we leave our bikes, generator, etc. around the campground or when boondocking and I dont have to worry about them.

Bought this for my POD full of belongings that will be traveling across country. I felt terrific upon receipt of it as it is heavy duty and very sturdy. Keys fit with no fuss. Even the POD guy who did the pick up on the POD commented that there locks are the best. I felt really good about that unsolicited comment. I would recommend. Fits flush to the POD making anyone trying to use any cutting tool, unlikely to succeed.

I bought this thinking I would be able to use it for my gym locker but the shackle is slightly too thick. However, this is extremely sturdy and it built like a tank. You can tell it won’t rust anytime soon and even with heavy power tools you’ll have a hard time cracking this open.

Got this for a POD because their locks are not very substantial. This lock is all stainless steel and appears very durable and secure. Fits the POD door latch fine. Locking mechanism works very smoothly with little effort to turn the key. We looked at Master and several other disk locks, but the ABUS lock seems better made. Has three small hole on back for water drainage and a drop of oil if necessary. Reasonably priced also! Highly recommended.

I have two storage spaces, one with an Abus lock bought from Bolo 18 months ago, and one with a different kind of lock I already owned.A couple days ago, my keys were stolen. Luckily I had a backup keys for both locks, but I'm replacing both locks because those stolen keys are out there somewhere.So I bought two more "keyed alike" Abus 24/70s from Bolo yesterday — and guess what? The key for the OLD lock purchased 18 months ago opened both my new locks.ABUS has confirmed in a chat that EVERY SINGLE "keyed alike" 24/70 SOLD BY Bolo HAS THE SAME KEY.ANYONE WHO BUYS ONE OF THESE LOCKS FROM Bolo CAN OPEN YOUR LOCKS TOO.DO NOT BUY ABUS "keyed alike" locks from Bolo if you don't want other people to be able to open your locks.

Be aware that you get charged for this item as soon as you click BUY. It's a 3rd party seller. Trying to get tracking information from the seller was evasive on their part to put it kindly. No real Bolo protection. But It's a very good quality lock. 5 stars for the lock. Zero stars for this seller.

Por el precio la verdad está bastante bien, se siente robusto y al ser de inox espero dure bastante, para el uso que le daré esta más que bien ( bodega en interior de estacionamiento en zona de apartamentos)
Sturdy and well-made
This Diskus lock feels sturdy and well-made.Was pleasantly surprised by the weight when I first picked it up.The locking and unlocking action is smooth as long as the shackle can move freely. The cylinder and shackle seem to be connected and move together.Using this with a hasp on a garden gate. Happy about Abus offering a hasp specifically for the Diskus line of locks.I think this lock sits in the sweetspot for price to security ratio.
