Cleaning becomes optional with our RA Flux core because of its non-corrosive and electrically non-conductive properties. Upper temperature limit : Do not to exceed 260 degree C (tip temperature). color and appearance: Amber Solid. Solder does the trick.Helped me solder up multiple light fixtures on an underground wire run before sealing the connections in rubber. Solder melts nicely and doesn't spit when heated. Worked great for my application and the 0.05" thickness was the perfect size.Nice price too.

The flux seems a bit on the heavy side, but it flows great and makes solid joints. I save the silver stuff for delicate digital, or sensitive audio applications. For everything else, this is probably what you want.

Would have liked to have got .046 diameter solder, but this .050 was as close as I could get. May be on the big side g for my needs or will have to watch the flow rate a bit closer. Will get a smaller size next time.
