Our 75hp Mercury outboard hadn't been run for a over a year. Prior to that it just didn't seem to have the power it should & also sounded like it had bit of an intermittent miss. I read through some boating forums and saw the high praises for this product as being better than the Marine Seafoam. It is made by Mercury so figured I didn't have much to lose and everything to gain. On the recommendation to "shock" the system and clean the fuel system and de-carbon the power head properly, I used a 3oz. to one gallon ratio. I had a small portable 3 gal. fuel tank and once on the lake I switched over from the onboard boat fuel tank to the portable. Almost instantaneously I could tell/feel the difference with the motor....seriously, scouts honor! I continued to run out the small tank varying throttle positions at times. When done with the "shock treatment" the motor was back to running smooth & powerful as it should. Made our fishing trip in MN a pure joy. I'm a firm believer now and will always use this additive as directed for sustained maintenance whenever fueling up. PS....don't forget to add a quality fuel stabilizer as this product does not contain those pertinent ingredients. Fish on.

any one who has an outboard motor knows the frustration of keeping it running smoothly and the costs for taking into the shop. I bought this quickleen when my motor kept cutting out on me while trolling. I have used it all season this year and my Mercury outboard has never run better no hesitation, or stalls every since I've been using it. I just add it every other fill up or so along with the fuel stabilizer and no problem. It's a little pricy but a lot cheaper than taking into the shop.

Our boat motor has been spitting and sputtering for the last couple seasons (Johnson 115) . It would get better as it warmed up, but someone recommended this hubby put this in and we had absolutely zero issues. The motor ran like a champ!! He has used Seafoam in the past, but it doesn’t come close to this product! Highly recommend!!

I use quickleen in every tank of fuel. It helps minimize carbon buildup and helps clean injectors.

ok ... I know everyone is thinking ... not another additive ... BUT ... my Mercury Outboard with 3 carbs on it wasn't running right ... even through I put gas stabilizer in it over the winter come time to use the engine it really didn't run right ... kinda rough and not full power ... so I took it to a reputable outboard mechanic and he told me he was so backed - up that he couldn't get to it for a week ... but then he told me "go buy yourself some "Quickleen engine & fuel cleaner pour it into the gas tank ... not too much gas in the tank ...and run that through the carbs for a couple of minutes ... wait about 3 hours and run the engine again ... that's what we would do anyway " He actually said that ... yes it ran a lot better ... now i run it with every tank.
