My hair stylist retired during the pandemic and I was unfairly forced to do my hair myself. Not really but I'm not very adventurous when it comes to hairstyles so I decided to save the money and just started washing, blow drying, and flat ironing my hair myself. What. A. Chore! Recently, someone asked who straightened my hair. I told her "me" as I anxiously awaited that next big 'you did so good' compliment that never came... she referred me to her hair girl, and then told me my hair was heat damaged. She asked me what I put on it, I said nothing. As she candidly stated she wasn't a hairdresser, she couldn't/wouldn't tell me what she saw that indicated heat damage but mentioned that I should be putting "something" on it. Like What!?!, I asked... crickets. Well, the search began. 1st with Google, and then YouTube videos, and then a product search here on my BFF Bolo. I specifically needed something for "my type of black hair", because if there are any Native American roots in my family, they skipped me...iykwim. After the photos and reviews for this product, I tried it and I noticed a significant difference in blow drying time and the quality of flat ironing my hair. When my hair is wet, it draws up like cotton. I've been told my hair is fine and soft. I have no idea how much I should've added, but I went light and just rubbed it in. I added a picture after blow drying as I'd probably get censored for posting my wet hair. LOL. I am very happy with the results and will highly recommend this product. Styling tools used is the Baby Bliss Hair Dryer in red, and the Baby Bliss flat iron in blue.

I spray this heat protectant right before i blow dry and stretch my type 4 curls. It adds great shine and moisture.

I absolutely love this product. I’m so happy I found it. It makes my fine, wavy and frizzy dry hair feel so soft and shiny after using with my flat iron, curling iron or blow dryer. My hair also feels soft, shiny and less frizzy if I use it and let my hair air dry. It seems to do a good job at protecting against the heat. My only complaint, which makes this not 5 stars, is the scent is so strong it’s irritating when I spray it on my hair. I have to hold my breath and it doesn’t dissipate quickly enough. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful product.

This is all you’ll ever need for heat styling! It’s incredibly moisturizing and leaves hair soft, manageable, and shiny. I love, love, love this product!

This is a great heat protector spray! Honestly, I like it better than one I'd been using for years that was twice the price of this one. I have fine hair (Caucasian), but lots of it, and naturally curly/frizzy. This has tamed my frizz so much more than anything I've used previously. I agree with other reviewers that you definitely don't need a lot. I section my hair in 4 when flat ironing, and probably use only 2-3 spritzes per section. My hair feels soft, not weighed down, and looks shiny. Just one small complaint is that the smell, although pleasant, is just a bit strong. Thankfully it doesn't linger too long. I will buy again, and do recommend.
My new favorite hair product
I love this heat spray so much - it smells really good and leaves my hair silky and smooth. I have fine hair that gets greasy easily so I spray it on sparingly, brush it through and get fantastic results.
It’s very greasy it smells good.
I love how when my hair is tangle I spray this and it gets easy to untangle. The feeling of this spray is really oily but it smell really good. After you’re done straightening your hair the finish of the hair just looks very Silky. In my opinion I would give this 7.5 10
