Tungsten is a sign of quality and durability as well because of its density. A higher tungsten content will produce a slimmer dart profile than one with less and 95% is among the highest you’ll find in dart set. More tungsten in the dart increases the price as tungsten is a rare metal and its density takes more effort to machine. The increased price gives a higher quality barrel and can improve performance, increasing scores. Each barrel enjoys knurled bands, deep grooves and hand painted rings, allowing your grip to remain consistent throw after throw. The Blitz Darts feature tough, lightweight Aluminum Spinster Shafts that can rotate freely, allowing them to make way for your next shots reducing bounce outs. Finally, each dart is finished off with a brutal blitz graphics adorning each wide glide flight, for a sharp look. I can't believe it. I threw the dart... and it actually stuck in the ... wall. Totally missed the dartboard, the surround, I'm grateful (seriously, never realized that grateful was spelled this way, always assumed it was greatful, based on the definition of great and grate, freaking english language i swear...) I missed the receptacle below.Update: oops, forgot to actually talk about the darts >.> I love the feel on the grip, weight was perfect for me. I feel like it was definitely worth it to buy a decent set of darts as opposed to a cheap set. I was never really into darts but lately I've been playing pretty regularly. When something is on my mind, toss some darts. When kids are stressing me out, toss some darts. Who knew darts could be cathartic. Many months later I tried a cheap set, and my throws were wobbly, not balanced at all. It shocked me how much of a difference a good set was compared to ones of less quality.

I have 5 sets of pro quality darts. These Viper 26g darts aren't the most expensive of the bunch but they are hands down the best. I have been throwing with them in steel tip league play for two months and my average scores and win percentages are both higher than they have ever been. Weight balance is perfect for my mid dart grip and the scalloped ridges on the barrel provide excellent feel and grip without "catching" at all - which is a problem I have had with some super aggressively textured barrels. Bottom line these are great and you can't beat the value for this kind of pro-level quality.

First of all, I love the darts. The reason I only gave 4 stars is due to the description and items included with the darts.I wanted slim, lightweight (22gr) darts and these fit the bill. The barrel shape varies with the weight and I find the 22gr barrel easy to grip and throw. Overall quality is quite good (they're made in the R.O.C., otherwise known as Taiwan).Now the problems: The bullet points say they come with 6 extra flights. There were only 3. While the darts come with Spinster spinning shafts, the 6 extra shafts included with the darts are plastic. That makes no sense to me-why would you substitute fixed plastic shafts (that are a little longer) for spinning aluminum shafts? And if you had to replace a broken shaft you wouldn't use a plastic shaft to replace an aluminum one. It would have been much better to include 3 identical spinning shafts instead of 6 plastic ones. The description also says that an accessory bag is included. Nope.The case is the one shown in the images, an EVA hard cover case and is quite nice but the description says that there is an aluminum case.In all fairness, the images shown with the darts are accurate. The main image shows the darts with spinning shafts, plastic case, 6 plastic shafts, 3 flights and the dart tool. That's what you'll get.Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. My main concern is the darts and they are everything I hoped for. Just be aware that what comes with them isn't exactly what's in the description.
