We make a lot of things on a frying pan, from breakfast to dinners. We usually use a variety of pans from cast iron to a non-stick pan/skillet. I was trying to make life easier on my wife and all of us, but giving her more cooking options and a larger cooking surface, so I decided to try an electric skillet. I had one a long time ago, but I just stopped using one. There's many of options, and while I'm not opposed to spending money on a quality of products, mostly all of them, even the more expensive options received negative reviews and those reviews were mostly centered around hot and cold spots on the cooking surface, and the thermostats turning off the heating elements when they reach their desired temps. Which, I'm quite certain that's what they're supposed to do, but anyway....After reading many customer reviews and product reviews by "experts" and rating companies, I decided on this product. I must say, that it has not disappointed us. We use it almost daily, sometimes twice a day. We've used it for almost a year for just about everything that you'd throw in a frying pan. This product works great. Zero complaints. It cooks the food fast and evenly. If there's a cold spot or a hot spot, we haven found it yet! The temp seems accurate, consistent, and evenly dispersed. It cleans up nicely, and so far the non-stick surface has yet to become worn. It stores away fairly nicely as well. I would definitely recommend this product, even over the more expensive options.

New item not used. 3rd I've bought. Love this product. Price keeps rising. Easy to clean and store. The coating eventually over time. I wash with paper towel and use only wood or plastic utensils. I lay a towel on the bottom so it doesn't get scratched when putting the base and the plug in for storage. I actually use a little fabric crown bag to store the plug so it doesn't scratch the skillet. It's fairly lightweight. The heating's pretty good, but not necessarily perfectly even. I'd say it's pretty durable with the exception of the coating, But I'm sure just with constant use even delicate use it's going to eventually deteriorate due to heat. While the Teflon is intact it's really good as a nonstick surface. This current one I purchased came bent and its box even though it was new. I was able to take some pliers and straighten it out.

I am a cook. I've been cooking since I was a child. I've gone through a lot of appliances that come and go. Some items were great on paper, but didn't hold up to heavy every day use. I am known with as being a great cook from our family and friends. Having excellent cooking utensils, makes cooking fun and enjoyable. Telfon items soon peeled and became unsafe to use. Not this wonderful skillet. I own one for my camper and one for my kitchen and I have also given them as wedding gifts. I've never had any problems with the coating coming off. They cook evenly, they store compactly compared to other skillets. One of the nicest features is being able to put it into my dishwasher. The part that you don't put in is the control plug. It comes out clean and all the extra parts fold and store in the skillet. If you choose to get one, enjoy it, I love cooking with mine. My children will be fighting over my kitchen treasures when complete my time on earth.😉

Easy to use. Heats up a bit slow - but appears to heat evenly. Easy to clean, and (not that it is of any importance), it is very nice looking.I just got this -- but so far, so good.*Finally have been able to use this for a few months now --- OMG - I love it -- you can cook anything in it. I really like the cutout to pour 'stuff' out of or place your cooking utinsil in. The 'stow away' is great, and you aren't fighting with the whole pan to clean. I bought this because of the reviews -- and I concur. Great fry pan for the dollars -- You can't go wrong with this product.

It's a great size skillet. Heats up quickly. Cleaning skillet is a breeze. I love it. The only fault I can find is that the side handles are a bit flimsy, so if you're constantly folding it for easy storage you'll want to be careful. I have a storage area for it so I don't have to fold it down after each use, so for me that's not a problem. If you are someone that likes a large skillet for quick meals, french toast, grilled cheese, etc., you'll love this skillet.

Best bet for frying anything or cooking…cleans up MUCH easier than pans! Great depth, the chicken we made was absolutely fantastic compared to the basic frying pan, and cook time was shorter!

Heat distribution excellent.Cleanup a breeze, cooks large quantities.Fold up nicely. Pleasant to look at.Very durable.Excellent all around product highly recommended and I’ve used them all. Hope they never discontinue.The only concern is the heat that comes off onto the dial but so far there does not seem to be any sign of deterioration.They should develop a guard against the heat on these elements. It seems to be the largest issue besides coatings peeling . But this skillet stands up to it all. And the depth is incredible!!!
