No matter what you use this for. Be as a spread, a dip or just out of the can with a spoon, it is tasty. Mixed with mayo on open faced toast. Or add a fried egg ( if you still can afford them) makes you want to be a dog with two tails

Potted meat was always a part of my childhood. During WW2, my family ate a lot of it. Mixed with mayonnaise and spread on bread was often my school lunch. I bought this to add to my stockpile of disaster foods, and now I occasionally open one to spread on crackers or white bread. Hearkens back to my youth when paper drives and savings stamps were a part of my life. Milk and graham crackers were snacks at school. I remember hearing the milk man rattling the cart coming to our room. Crazy, huh?

I like the fact that it doesn't matter how long you keep these cans of potted meat they're always good they're better when they've been chilled they're a little soupy when they've been heated in that Texas Sun but since they turned out to be perfect for us we just pop them into the refrigerator when we want to make potted meat sandwiches and we decided that refrigerator or not that would be a great thing to put in the homeless boxes that are out in the public now for the people who are hungry to go and get some free food there's even book things that you can borrow books from it's great.

I might eat 1 can a year of this but if hurricane hits and lose electric we can survive.
