The fence is sturdy, the height is great for small dogs. It’s easy to use, I can use on the porch and inside the house. The color is really nice too, I ordered the darker color.

What I like:It's a really great product with a great idea behind it. It works super well for a multi-functional space. At first glance, it seems like a bad product if you want to let cats through while keeping larger dogs out because there's no real way to modify the gate itself to let cats through, but I eventually came to the pretty simple solution of just mounting the gate 4 inches above the ground. Just mounting it a bit higher means there's enough space for cats to squeeze underneath, but dogs are kept out! Really good solution to keep the dogs out of the litter box area while still allowing free access to cats. I also really love how easy it is to remove the gate and/or fold it out of the way. I also love that it doesn't have that awful toe-destroying bottom bar that other gates have, it can fit in a variety of openings without any modifications or having to keep track of extenders, and it can be easily moved around to anywhere you need it. It also comes with a second set of eyelet anchors so you can install it in another location if you need to move it between two places frequently. If you need more anchors, they are very common basic anchors available at every hardware store on the planet.What I don't like:It basically requires power tools to install. I had to use a drill to make the initial holes for the eyelets. You might be able to install the eyelets by hand if you have soft drywall or strong hands, but I was 0/2 on that, so had to use a drill. You would also definitely need a drill if installing into anything harder than drywall. I'd also recommend using drywall anchors if you're putting it in drywall. The gate has been up for a week and already the eyelets are wobbling in the drywall and I'm planning to redo the install with drywall anchors. I just think it should at least come with drywall anchors if they're so obviously necessary. Another issue is that there's nowhere to hold it that feels natural while extending it and folding it back and I've pinched my fingers several times. I'll probably add a small knob or handle to the gate to make it easier to use, but, once again, it should really come with something like that.Overall/ TL;DR:I love the design (mostly), the functionality, and the cat-friendliness of it. It's a very versatile multi-functional design, easy enough to use, and leaves only minor things to be desired which can be easily dealt with in a $5-$10 trip to the hardware store. I will probably be buying another to use in another location in my house.

This product is exactly what I needed to keep my dog from running out of the garage. I installed the gate just outside the kitchen door entry to the garage which prevents my dog from darting out the kitchen entry to the garage & stops her from running out the garage door when opened to the street. She is what is called a door dasher. The gate is sturdy & good quality. It is easy to install & slides in and out with ease. Love this gate and the price is great!

Originally bought this gate back in 1994 to keep a puppy confined in the kitchen. Finally after 31 years of use, including leaving out on our deck for a couple winters (though normally we brought it inside) as it became the gate for our deck to corral kids and more pups, we had to buy another one. We bought the exact same one. It's really for adults use. We had a set up where you just had to slide it in and out of a slot which the elementary aged kids could use easily to let the pups and themselves on and off the deck. The top cover is very functional because it both protects and and paws, adds stability when expanding and contracting plus swinging open and closed, and it's a bit of a rain cover for outdoor use.
Works great and looks good
Easy to install. It's great that it easily expands and folds up. I can swing it to the wall and push it together so it's small and out-of-the-way... And quickly swing it back and stretch it out to block the walkway.Great that it expands wide enough (wider than a doorway).I use it to block my large dogs, to keep them in a room, and not run and bark at the front door. Wish I had gotten it sooner!
Works well as a pet gate
I've installed this gate as a room divider to keep my rabbit from certain areas and it works very well. The gate is sturdy enough not to be toppled by the rabbit and stylish enough to be in my home at all times. I liked it enough that I bought another one. However, be careful in installing the anchors, as drywall isn't really strong enough to withstand the tension from opening and closing. Drilling in wood made a world of difference.

This gate is amazing in terms of the fact that it could either be used by contracting the gate (which means a little space can be accommodated for entry and exit) or it can swing open, giving a wider option for entry and exit. I bought this for the front door to ensure I can manage the cats and it works beautifully
