This is a great product. I just use a little amount for my “baby hair” along the forehead and also for my fly aways and it works great without leaving it greasy.I would highly recommend this product.

This gives my short hair the spikiness that I want. But I have to be really careful to use just the tiniest amount to start, and then build from there. I also have to be careful not to touch my hair when I’m done, because I don’t love the way it lingers on my hands, the waxiness (which makes it great for hair!).When that happens, I’m dying to get to a sink and rinse my hands! But really, it’s a good solid product.

This is amazing for any style I use. I scrunch out the crunch from gel on my curly/wavy hair, also use to finish style on a blowout. Adds a little texture and shine, but no grease... this is an absolute holy grail for me

I purchased Garnier Fructis' Style Pure Clean Finishing Paste for Hair based upon the rave reviews, but found on my hair, this product was ineffective.Over the last year, I have stopped coloring my hair and let my natural silver highlights take over the top of my head. My hair is healthier; softer, shinier and has more body since I stopped coloring it and well-hydrated thanks to another Garnier Fructis conditioning product. The reason I wanted to use this product as I wanted to get a paste to piece out parts of my hair to frame my face, without too much stickiness.Upon opening the jar of this paste I was pleasantly surprised that there was no overpowering odor. Very subtle and light, which was great. The product is somewhat slimy for lack of a better way to describe it, but it's also very solid in the packaging, so getting some to emulsify in my hand was a little bit tough.The product does not feel sticky and it did not make my hair look greasy, which I liked. The problem is, it really didn't hold my hair as expected. It's really ideal for keeping fly-aways in place, so maybe if your hair is thin and tends to be highly charged with static or is frizzy, this might be for you?My expectations for this product were not met, but I will continue to try to use it in different ways to see if maybe it's "user error" in some way and update this review if needed. I think your hair's condition, the weather, and your expectations will all come into play as to whether or not this product works for you.

Have always used a more expensive paste, but this one is better! It is light indeed, but holds my hair very well and is not gooey feeling. I like that it lasts several days and just a small amount will reshape my short hair. I used way too much the first time. Another plus. Great price.

I'll buy this again. It is a light weight cream that does what it's supposed to for my short, fine and thick hair. It separates and lifts and holds yet is a soft finish. I rub a very small amount onto my fingertips, let body heat warm it up a bit and then apply to ends and separate and style. This is a product for soft and breezy looks - not for spikey styles.

I have afro hair and use this to retwist my hair midweek if I want a clean feel with no extra oil or crunch. It's like you added no product to your hair but you get the hold and softness you need. Very impressive.
