I use the container to store my cat's kibble in. I usually buy the 22 pound size and recently one of my cats has been destroying those bags to get at the food. Even after I put the whole bag in in a strong contractor plastic bag, my cat still tries to rip open those plastic bags to get at the kibble. I recently received the plastic garbage container and wow! It's just perfect. It holds the whole 22 pound bag quite nicely. It opens and closes great and it's very space saving. Really nice! I'm happy. It works for me!

Perfect size for a mid size kitchen.More importantly I am writing two years after purchase. After a year the lid starts to fall of track once a while and two years later it comes off every time. First look at the manufacture's website warranty claim didn't seem to have lid covered but after sending video and txt message. Within a day the replacement lid is ordered and covered under warranty! I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and great warranty customer service. This for me negates all the poor reviews due to lid issues.

The container worked well while it lasted. My first one lasted several years. When the lid kept getting detached from the step pedal mechanism, I replaced it. The second one lasted longer than a year but again had to be replaced when the lid malfunctioned again. Hope this one lasts longer. I use regular 13 gallon garbage bags with it (you do not need to buy their branded garbage bags).

We just bought this to store dog food in. After cleaning it and letting it air out, we put the food directly in it. The container has a latch on the top that prevents your animal friends (or children) from opening the container. The pedal is easy to use, the top latch is somewhat difficult but in time, it will likely become easier. Our dogs are curious about the container but have not tried to knock it over or get into it.

I have a German Shepherd rescue with separation anxiety who gets really upset with Mom when I leave the house and don't take him with me, which is then expressed by emptying the kitchen trash can and strewing it all over the house. I used to have a heavy solid oak trash can with a locking lid, but that isn't of much use if the entire top comes off the can once it is tipped over, so I found myseslf on a quest to find something that not only locks, but the lid doesn't come off if the can is turned upside down. I found it. When I got home today, the entire can was on the other side of the kitchen on its side, but the lock held and my 4-footed boy wasn't able to get the lid off. Surprisingly, even though the edge of the trash bag peaking from just below the lid top was mauled, there were no teeth marks on the lid itself, nor was it scratched up or scuffed from being hauled around the kitchen floor. Also nice is the very solid feel and functionality of the foot pedal for flipping the lid up when you hands are full of stuff you are trying to get into the can. The shape is perfect, too. I wanted something that fit between two other kitchen appliances, and this fit the bill to a T. Never thought I'd be as excited about a trash can as I am about this, but hey, it's the small things in life that make the difference!

Necesitaba uno a prueba de perros, ya que a mi puntero/sabueso de tamaño mediano a grande le encantaba la basura, pero también es muy inteligente para abrir cosas. Pero este es IMPOSIBLE de abrir, gracias a su cerradura a prueba de perros. ¡Muy recomendable!

分別用に2点購入しました。大きさや素材感は思っていた通りの品物で満足しています。難点としては、中にキャスター部分などの凹凸があるので洗いにくそうです。蓋の取り付けは、かなり固いのですが、思っていたよりも簡単にはまりました。2点中の1点は、開梱して蓋をビニールから出したところ、蓋の表に縦の線が入っていました。よく見たら裏にも入っていたので、ヒビだと思います。蓋の入っていたビニール袋もオリジナルのものではなかったのも気になり、1点はそのまま返品し、再度、購入しました。
