The calculator was a little smaller than what I thought, but has all the features and functions that I need. It runs on batteries and an outlet, so it is a good fit for taking to events or a location that does not have electricity available.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Update from earlier review, you can not put numbers in WITHOUT LOOKING EACH ONE, sometimes just half the numbers are added, could not recommend this for someone who needs to add columns of numbers, frustration for anyone needing to use daily, if you have plenty of time, much patience STILL PAY A LITTLE MORE, better for your blood pressure

I am very excited about my new Victor 1208-2 calculator! After 35 wonderful years, my beloved Canon P106-D finally stopped printing (though the display still worked). I didn’t realize how much I would miss having the printout — but this Victor model is an even better replacement! It’s more compact, saving valuable desk space, and although the keypad is smaller, it is still easy to use. It’s also quieter than my old Canon, which is a nice bonus. The two-color black-and-red tape is also great to still have, but the real game-changer is the battery option. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do, but it’s incredibly convenient. And of course, I can still plug it in if I want. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
