So far nothing seem since the last update in apartment- which is a building consisting of 12 apartments.Update 05/16: 4 months later... This works well if you rotate it with advion. Also stop purchasing expensive things to get rid of these nasty things and get BORIC ACID. Yes people.... BORIC ACID. It is cheap. $3 for a bottle that will last you forever. No pest control wants to use it since they know it WORKS and they just want money. I have kids so i was hesitant but after 4 months with battling roaches since I moved in a 12 apartment building where I can't guarantee cleanness of other people- I had to use something else since I tried it all! I tried advion which roaches loved and this maxforce i saw pest control use- they recommended you rotate between the two. Let me tell you I did that and still had some roaches ( 1 a day that I saw). Boric acid eliminated the problem almost completely. the ones I do see (eery few weeks) and limping and rarely walking. BORIC ACID WORKS PEOPLE!. Just use it correctly! To correctly apply boric acid, you open the twist cap-put your finger over the cap. Shake shake shake, and puff a really small non- visible layer. A layer you cannot see. If you see it, you applied too much. However you can check if its applied by touching the area and looking at your hand for white powder. Apply in all OUTLETS and in all GAPS and crevices. Also a must to apply behind oven, fridge, and all your appliances. Try to not to get that area wet, and it works wonders! If you apply boric acid in areas your kids cannot reach like a gap inside the outlets its most likely out of their reach. I have toddlers and I feel like I applied it safely. Just make sure they are not around while applying it since it like dust. Use the bait along with it, but really try it. If this was helpful, rate this as helpful and let me know how it worked for you. It makes me really happy to help someone since I was really suffering from this when I moved to my apartment and discovered there was roaches.Update: so its been like months. I live in an apartment building and the cockroach source was NOT from my apartment as i was told by the exterminators (3 of them). I see 1 or 2 cockroaches a week lurking around. I recommend using this bait only where you see them. A tiny bit. This can last you 4 plus months. Also buy advion and rotate between them both. They seemed to like advion better but this one works well too. Also I saw the exterminator pull out some dust (like boric acid) called delta dust and place them in crevices. This seemed to have really helped. Oh and I did notice they come from the outlets so put bait and dust there too. Dont place the dust on the bait as it defeats its purpose. read on how to dust with delta dust before using. Now its been 4 months living in this apartment and although cockroaches are under control, I want to completely eliminate them. I think I will put delta dust in the outlets and buy the old fashioned boric acid too. I will Update when I win this war with these nasty little bugs.Update: its been 3 weeks since I put this and iv seen a decrease in cockroaches. From none- to 1 a day. My whole building is infested so this really does work. It seems like this building had several types and those damn german ones just wont go away until i used this. I used Advion too but this seems to work better. My tip is to use 1/4 bottle at first then keep applying every 2 weeks for 2 months or as needed as the cockroaches seem to love fresh paste. Also forgot about those pest companies- THEY USE THIS ONE! The company I used was so cheap too they will rarely use the whole bottle in the apartments. I have to say the guy used 1/8 of the bottle when I did call the landlord so the guy can come. He mentioned it was too expensive to do so. Anyway save yourself money and time and try this. Those cockroaches made me hate going into my own kitchen but thank God- there is a cure!I saw the same exact thing in a big pest company when they came over. I had tried advion which worked for 3 weeks then I started seeing activitiy again. I used this and I see 2 every couple of days. I hope this works but I don't know since I live in a apt. Complex and it's infested. They live in the walls. I'll update in a month.

5.0 out of 5 stars Roach tips...what worked for me

    B. · September 25, 2015

I just bought a condo and it was infested. It had lots on crevices, large gaps and loose badly done floors. The roaches we hiding under there.I took additional steps as well- see below. Keep in mind roaches like the dark and usually travel along corners of your walls. I will attach links for what I used, you can also find these items at your hardware store. Also I have a toddler I was worried would eat a roach...euuwwww - I was dead set of destroying them..lolI applied this gel and after that every day I came in to check it out I saw dead roaches for about a week or so. A month later I saw one behind my stove and was furious(I really hate roaches), only to discover that I had not sealed a gap in the wall so it came from the neighbor's side. After that I have not seen any. I am overjoyed. So it DOES work. I follow instruction which state that its better to put numerous small dabs rather than fewer large daps. So my dabs were about 1/8 inch long and spaced at 6-12 inches apart depending on the area.Worked like a charm. The color is brown (like poopoo) but it used to be a darker shade so this lighter brown is an improvement. I put it in discreet areas away from my child's reach.Wear disposable gloves because you don't want it to get on your fingers. Mine didn't come with the applicator syringe rod so I had to stick my gloved finger in the back to syringe it out. Apply when no kids or pets are around, to reduce any chances of contaminating them with any residue. Wash hands thoroughly. I didn't use all of mine so I capped it back and sealed it in a ziplock bag.Other things I did:1) I used expanding foam to seal larger holes and gaps in the exterior and interior perimeter of my home - this keeps things from coming in and out. That way you only have to worry about what already in there. Be gentle with this foam because it does expand quite a bit. Experiment on a piece of cardboard to see how much it expands - check the card board after 30 mins - I used this one with a pest blocking action http://www.Bolo.com/GREAT-STUFF-Pestblock-Insulating-Sealant/dp/B007TUF0FY/ref=pd_sim_60_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=03PDEZBBN111X9X59XV8&dpID=41ugnld5QgL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_2) I used Alex Plus acrylic latex plus silicone to seal smaller creases. Like creases in baseboards, corners inside my cupboards, basically anywhere a baby roach can squeeze through. My hardware store carries in it clear, white and brown. http://www.Bolo.com/18128-Acrylic-Latex-Silicone-5-5-Ounce/dp/B00130BWLM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443188323&sr=8-1&keywords=alex+plus+silicone3) Sticky roach traps that you can lay flat or fold into a tent - the glue is very strong (form the tent - I used it flat and had to throw away many socks after mistaking stepping on it. I toddler proofed this by hiding them behind things. http://www.homedepot.ca/product/insect-trap/8357794) Raid roach spray that I used like a maniac before I received the gel. This spray is safe to use around pets and small children - BUT only after it has dried. Read the back it will say this, I don't remember which one it was so I can't post a link..5) Always wipe up food spills and crumbs on counters and floors (not just sweep) - I use ORIGINAL Pin Sol which I read drives roaches away. I bought one of those refillable spray mops with the washable pads (I call them quick mops) and fill it with diluted Pin Sol solution and use almost every night (I said I have a toddler). If it's just adults I doubt you'd need to quick mop every night.6) I throw out the food garbage every night. In closing, once you apply the gel, you will kill what ever is in you house and their generations to come since they eat each others dead roach bodies and the poison passes on like that.

I was skeptical when buying this. I live in an apartment with massive gaps everywhere, and no matter how much we sprayed, little roaches and beetles would enter in droves. Applying this product in many of the cracks and closets, I went from seeing 5 roaches a day, to 1 per week. It works. Make sure to use it with a bug barrier (which has been keeping out larger roaches). One star off since no where in the instructions does it say how to change out the cap on the tube, which is annoying.
