I bought this because of the good reviews and I needed a replacement for a robe I bought years ago. After first wash, the belt has come undone and I'm either going to have to pay to ship it back for a refund or repair it.

The media could not be loaded. This Turkish cotton robe has an unusual weave – herringbone. It has a significant heft to it, which I like. It comes in dual sizes which is OK if you are aware of that going into it. Mine is a large/extra large. It’s definitely big.If you find yourself always too hot in a fleece bathrobe, try this out. It’s a good value.

Coming up to 4 months of use now, and about a total of 6 or 7 washes through a full-sized, front-loaded home washer and dryer. Already threads are coming out of the sleeves' inseams. Threads are coming apart from the sash/belt. Wore this primarily through the winter when it's cold inside the house. I don't use this for absorbency - just warmth. I like the weight and luxuriousness of the fabric, but I had to knock off a star due to the fact that threads are beginning to pull out after one season. No holes at the seams yet, but at this rate I'm not hopeful.EDIT: Three years later, I'm changing this rating from 4 to 5 stars. I've long since cut off the threads mentioned above, but the seams are still very in tact. They must've been extra/loose threads that weren't trimmed during the sewing process, which is pretty normal. Everything about this robe is still holding up great after 3 years.
