Sturdy, thick rimmed hand cut Italian lead crystal with a rich, geometric pattern that is at the same time bold, yet not overpowering in its masculinity. This glassware would look great on anyone's table, and the set of six is the perfect number for us. Even the packaging is resplendent in its classy Italian flair. The set price was also quite reasonable, and we ordered the matching old fashion glasses which we love for all of the same reasons. One note: on all, hand washing is recommended.As an aside, my wife selected the same pattern from the myriad catalogs we receive not knowing that I had already ordered these... I guess in this instance great(?) minds do think alike. I would recommend these two sets to anyone. -Tom

I also like that they are made of Luxion glass which is able to be dishwashed thousands of times. I spent a few hours looking for cut-looking whiskey type highball glasses and am so pleased I found these. Great price, high quality. I also bought the shorter old fashioned whiskey style glasses. I would give it 6 stars if I could get some different sizes with this design; these glasses are beautiful, heavy crystal and not the "delicate" type of crystal that breaks easily. I don't cringe (As much) when the kid swats this glass and knocks it over on the table, which has happened already. No breaks or cracks but also wouldn't recommend you dropping them to test that out....... YES, these are dishwasher safe, but my personal preference is to hand wash, as I just don't trust automatic dishwashers. Again, a very beautiful ITALIAN MADE crystal glass

These glasses are lovely. They are thick enough without being dainty. Durable for everyday use. And they shine and sparkle nicely in the light. One glass arrived chipped, and customer service responded quickly and kindly by promptly sending out a replacement glass. I'm happy and would easily recommended these glasses!

These glasses are gorgeous! We use them everyday. They are made of nice thick glass, and shockingly, my busy family , has yet to break one! I’m very pleased with my purchase and would definitely purchase again.
