Hear me out, the shimmer you see an overspray but idc. Once the layer is gone, the rest of the powder is a soft glow powder that I like to use to set my entire face if I feel I’m too matte. Especially because I use Estée Lauder Double Wear a lot of the time. This powder, in my opinion, is the original hourglass powder. Subtle highlighting that just gives a pretty glow without looking like a cyber princess. Though that’s a favourite look of mine most of the time.

Overall I’m keeping this product since it’s get a really pretty not too crazy shimmer. It’s really nice for a night out and blends nicely over blush or eye shadow.I initially wanted a highlighter that came in a compact for travel. This doesn’t work for that. It’s got some darker undertones so depending on your skin tone (I’m light medium olive) it’s not a great highlighter.My other con with it for travel is there’s some substantial holes for ventilation in the brush compartment. You’d probably do okay with a sponge applicator but the included brush is pretty awful. It’s a little rough, sheds, and holds onto product pretty fiercely. Guarantee mess.

Love this product but very hard to find the glow pearls in the stores anymore where I live. I use the translucent glow pearls over my foundation. It sets my foundation and gives me a perfected luminous glow. I have been using this product for ten years now. I've tried others , more expensive products, but always ended up coming back to this product. It not over glowed like some, and diffuses and illuminates nicely, even in harsh office lighting, without settleling into fine lines like some of the more expensive ones I have tried did. Now I'm retired at 65 and on a fixed income it's something I can afford to continue to use.Thanks Bolo for continuing to make available!
