Especially when it comes to electronic controls and sensors for vehicles that have sensitive powertrain control modules.If you want it fixed right, you will end up buying true OEM original-equipment-manufacturer parts... and throwing out the OEM-"equivalent" garbage (and your cheapskate initial investment).

This is an OEM product and fit our 4.7 HO Jeep engine perfect. I get a mechanic discount at the local Chrysler dealer, but this was a couple bucks cheaper than their discount, and the dealer didn't have any in stock at the time and it was a holiday weekend. Got it faster through Bolo. We were experiencing a 'ticking' sound through the radio relative to engine speed, which indicated errant sparking being picked up through the radio. Since there are no spark plug wires (normally a common cause of this type of sound), the coil and plugs are the next place to check. While the engine didn't miss, the noise through the radio was highly irritating. If you experience this, go around and unhook the wire from each coil until the 'ticking' noise goes away, then you know you found the problem cylinder. Be sure it's not a bad spark plug. Note that when you pull off the coil wire, you will set an engine code, which you can clear ...or wait to go away once the problem is resolved.

My vehicle: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7V8 HO EngineVehicle originally had 56028138AD. Mopar.com recommends 56028138AF as replacement. Bolo claims this as "does not fit your vehicle". Took the risk and bought it. It is 5/32" shorter in height than what originally came with the vehicle, but it works well. I had cylinder #1 misfire, and this resolved the issue.The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the packaging. It came in a thin plastic bag, and was shipped in a bubble envelope. No other packaging. I wish it came in a box with a good few layers of bubble wrap. This is sensitive electrical equipment. Very disappointed with packaging.

My Jeep had a misfire on cylinder #4, i pulled the spark plug and it looked fine so i figured it was the coil. I installed this coil in about 2 minutes and it was the solution to my problem. This is a direct replacement matching numbers Mopar part I would highly recommend getting this coil if you're having the same problem i was having.
