Leaks in the gearbox caused by hardened or brittle seals are prevented or remedied by using Liquid Moly's ATF Additive. In addition, holes and ducts in the transmission are cleaned, the performance of the oil is revitalized. The noise from the power-steering will be reduced and the shifting operations are improved. Two tubes of this product did help my transmission out quite a bit. I think this product is better than Lucas or Seafoam transmission additives.

Used for my 2007 Mercedes e350 4 matic 722.6 that was having downshifting issues at low speed/RPM. Used with LIQUI moly atf 1600. 48 hours and around 50 miles in and I have a huge difference. Reviews say see difference in transmission between 100-300 miles. So hopefully I see even more improvement.Great product!

I used this product on a 2010 Subaru Forester X 2.5l EJ253 with 173K miles, the trans is an auto. After putting this solution in the trans dip stick hole and driving it for about 2 days I can say it does affect how my shifting is, however I still have a small buck. compared to before it is noticeable to people that have ridden in my car, I would recommend this to anyone that has a transmission that has issues with the shift solenoids, not to someone that needs to replace their fluid for their trans.

Haven’t seen the power steering fluid level drop in the one month and 1500 odd KM after adding the Liquimoly ATF to the power steering fluid, and the power steering (pump) has become noticeably quieter with the whining noise gone away completely. Hopefully the additive helped in softening the seals enough as claimed and the leakage is stopped for good.
