These are accurate and affordable...dont believe the negative reveiews. They are getting "false negatives" because their loved ones and friends are using different opiods than these test for...most likely fentynyl. Since that is what is in most of the heroin today. These rarely malfunction. It tests for morphine and its metabolite. So any opiate that breaks dowm to that will show up.

Great product, why waste the money to use a 5 panel test if only one substance needs to be tested for. At 80 Cent's each ($19.99 / 25 ) and free Prime shipping these are very affordable to test for the most abused substance. The accuracy of this single & their 5 panel are exactly the same when I compared them.

I have lifelong problems with kidney stones, and occasionally need to monitor my "levels", this product works well. I would guess maybe one out of 25 is a dud, but they're fairly cheap.12/1/19...I think it's important to note, when ordering, who the manufacturer/vendor is of these single strip tests. If you have bad results with one, try another. Note whether they're out of date, and make sure the test DEVICE is properly labeled in the area rt above the test screen ....should be OPI for opium, OXY (oxycocone), or MET (meth), etc. I have rec'd out of date and mislabeled boxes (labeled OPI on the box), but test was MET on the device. Buy Prime so you can return.Single test strips shouldn't cost over a buck or so apiece, don't get ripped off!

First off I'm not one to write reviews but I felt it necessary for anyone in my same shoes trying to help a loved one with his/her addiction. These tests are incorrect and untrustworthy! I have asked for a full refund from the seller! I tested someone twice that is struggling with opiate addiction and both tests came up positive and the person swore they were clean. Before taking drastic measures with the person and since this is my first time using these tests I tested myself, and I too came up positive which is just not possible. These tests are misleading and should be removed from the market immediately. Serious repercussions could result do to the faultiness of these tests!!! Not only could families and relationships be broken and forever changed due to a false positive, but a false negative could be just as harmful if you are trying to help someone struggling with addiction and thinking they are clean when they are not. Please remove you product from the market until you have thoroughly completed quality control on your product!! There are many other tests on the market for those looking for honest results, please do not buy these ones.

Some people on here seem to be giving false reviews because they aren't educated on what they're testing. America is in a huge fentanyl pandemic. Fentanyl will not test positive for morphine yet it acts similar to someone consuming it. Sometimes the test sample will have just fentanyl in it. This sample would test negative for morphine for this test. Some samples are just morphine or morphine derivatives. Those samples would test positive for this test. Some samples will test positive for both fentanyl and morphine--this is very common--and would test positive on both separate dip sticks.I'd be willing to bet my first born child that the majority of people getting negative test results are getting them from a sample which is only fentanyl and/or it's analogs (analogs=very chemically similar substances to Fentanyl but they aren't technically the same fentanyl you would get from your doctor. AKA fentalogs) In my experience the fentanyl test picks up the analogs. But THIS is not a fentanyl test. It's morphine. So the morphine test would be negative.My suggestion: Purchase this test AND the Fentanyl dip test. Between the two tests you should get at least one positive test result and maybe two positive results.

These tests work perfectly for opiates which include heroin, morphine, and codeine. These tests are NOT for OPIODS which include oxycodone, Vicodin, Percocet, or any pill form of OPIODS. Learn the difference because a lot of people are saying they don't work when they're testing for semi synthetic narcotics made in a lab that come from the poppy plant. This test is soley for MORPHINE, HEROIN, CODIENE. The reviews saying they dont work are misinformed and don't know there is a difference between opiates and opiods.

I found based upon the "key" for reading the results, that the 2 separate lines (C &T) are both visible. Result being Negative. Another test kit showed 3 Positive result. I know for certain that opiate pain meds were prescribed, but your test strips show apparent "negative". This could be problematic for a family or loved one who needs accurate results. Please remove your product from market until a more accurate test strip is available. Based upon the photos you can see, an "obvious" Negative (no opiate in system) and three "apparent negative results also. (after starting pain medication) The slight visible "T" line depicts a negative result. This "IS A FALSE NEGATIVE result.

Ok product. I was testing my child for use of prescription drugs. I used these and then ones that were drug specific. This general opiate drug detector did not work near as well as the specific drug tester. I could only detect opiates for 2 days out of use but with the oxycodone test I found positive use 5 days out from usage.
