The Coast Guard approval gives me confidence we're using proper safety equipment, not just a swim aid.The fit is excellent for the 15-30 pound range. My toddler is on the smaller side at 22 pounds, and the adjustable straps provide a snug, secure fit without being restrictive. She can move her arms freely but there's no way she's slipping out of this jacket. The crotch strap is essential for keeping everything properly positioned.What impressed me most is how well it keeps her in the correct floating position. During our lake trips, she stays face-up effortlessly, even when she's wiggling around or trying to splash. The bright colors make her easy to spot in the water, which is critical for safety.The construction quality is solid - no cheap stitching or flimsy buckles. After a full summer of regular use, washing, and sun exposure, it still looks and functions like new. Bright, well made
Purchased for my 8 month grandchild so she could go boating with us. Unfortunately weather didn't cooperate during the visit so I can't attest to how the jacket works in water. It appears to be of good quality and made well. Like the colors as they are bright, and therefore safe, as the child wearing it would be easily seen. I did not give 5 stars ONLY because it was not used yet.

Fit my 8 month old and still fits him at 10 months. Bought to use on our boat. This one is safest because of the strap underneath and thing behind head.

This is great for small kids my son is 20 pounds and fits in this perfect and can walk around. The only problem was the packaging when delivered did not mention to not use a knife to open it and the product was cut because it was not protected.
Coastguard approved and works great!
This life jacket is exactly what we needed. We visited a water park with our 11 month old and were told that the only floaties they allowed to be brought in were coastguard approved infant life jackets, otherwise we would’ve had to rent one.We had no problem bringing this life jacket in and using it. Our baby is 11 months old, is 29in tall and weighs 18.5lb. She didn’t like it on her at first but once we got in the water and she leaned back, she was so relaxed and floated with ease. The head support is like a pillow, keeps the head elevated and kept her ears out of the water. I’d let go of her completely and she’d float with ease. The material is great too, didn’t bother her at all.We appreciate the 3 buckles on the chest, which hold on very sturdily and are easy to tighten/loosen. The buckle that goes between the legs was also sturdy and holds the life jacket down so it doesn’t push up and squish the face. With swim diapers on, she didn’t even notice it there.The life jacket says it works for littles up to 30lb, so we’ve got another year to year and a half to use it. We plan to take it to the beach with us this summer and try having her on a kayak with us just around the shallows. Looking forward to it! Very happy with our purchase!
