I put one of these in the tank everytime I buy gas. It increases my mileage 5-7 miles more per gallon. Be sure if you buy that it's not a "fake". I have bought some in the past that was not the real STP Gas Treatment but label said it was. Already threw the old bottles away so I can't tell you the difference but read labels closely.

It doesn't hurt to throw in a bottle of fuel cleaner or fuel treatment after every oil change. It's good to get some of that carbon burnt. In the many years that I've driven my vehicles, I haven't had issues and I think these fuel additives truly help along with using high quality gas!

So it helps give cheaper(non Top Tier) gas a little boost. This won’t solve check engine problems(yeah sometimes a gas tank fuel of good gas can) but it seems to help in the mpgs after a few fuels ups. I’ve been using it for about a month. If you have a capless system get a funnel as it seems to get jammed in and breaking something while adding a fuel treatment is going to drive you crazy and cost $$$. I’d expect about 1mpg overall but don’t drive like a loon and you’ll be amazed at your gas savings.

My Honda Civic has over 330,000 miles. I live in the country in northern Michigan and The STP helps me feel secure that my car will run in all types of temperatures, humidities and dust. I am grateful for a fine operating vehicle and STP in the gas on occasion gets me through all seasons.

I’ve always taken care of my car. I use STP for every fill up. I’ve never had a problem with my fuel system and could be in my head but I feel like it helps with gas mileage with the low price. If it don’t I’ll still be fine with that.
