These replacement filters fit my Black and Decker hand vacuum perfectly. They wash and dry easily for re-use. Unlike some other reviewers, I do not find the small slits in the plastic to be a problem. No dust has gotten into the motor or other internal parts of the vacuum. I suspect the slits may be necessary to permit sufficient airflow and vacuum strength.I will continue to use and recommend these filters for the vacuum models that they fit.

Yes, it's washable, but after a few times it's obvious that it needs to be replaced. It's a genuine B&D one so obviously it's a perfect fit, but why is it so hard to find and/or expensive as a single-pack?
